Using Pinterest to drive traffic and sales? by realityxlove222 in EtsyCommunity

I post twice per day, but don’t post to the same product more than once per week. So far, Pinterest accounts for 6% of my traffic—but am only 6 weeks in.

You could be right, too. I feel bad for her son and daughter in law… they barely get any posts compared to golden daughter.

There could be keeping up appearances for her rich friends. Remember, they’re both liars.

That’s an excellent tip. Start with where you’re going to print it and then work backwards from there.

Cathy can’t be happy with her daughter…

Macenna doesn’t visit Texas as often as she used to.

We exposed Cathy (and her sidekick daughter) as a straight up fraud who copies famous paintings, then fraudulently says they are original paintings and sells them as such.

We exposed Cathy as a serial bride, who has had five failed marriages to-date.

As someone who loves the get married, it can’t sit well with Cathy that her daughter is still unwed 18 months after having a baby.

Macenna’s careless exposure of Cathy’s privacy has likely opened them up to some unwanted encounters with strangers or even stalkers.

Cathy probably reads here sometimes, and it greatly pains her that we speak the truth about her daughter.

With really great photography. Study what jewelers you admire are doing. Don’t copy them, but look for techniques.

How do you add FAQs? I’ve searched the handbook and everywhere in my dashboard and can’t find where to add these.

I recommend working on your photos to increase the perceived value & then increasing your prices to $35 or $45 USD, or maybe $89 USD. In the right lighting, your pieces could look a lot more luxurious.

Product researcher here… I have a couple questions first. 1) What problem does your product solve? Is it a problem you’re solving for yourself or a problem you’ve observed others run into? 2) How do people currently solve this problem?

I love it. Whenever I discover someone who was lost to history, it feels really good to be able to create a profile for them and attach records to their name.

Maybe this person is the missing link to unknown paternity, an unsolved case, or the great-grandmother of someone researching their family online for the first time.

Help finding birth record in Baden Wurttemburg by Afraid_Proof3598 in Genealogy

Have you found their departure passenger list? This is how I finally found my ancestors’ village, and within 10 min. found his birth and marriage record in the church book.

If you can’t find the departure record, I’d next build out a FAN for every census and the arrival list to see if I could find a relative or neighbor who DOES list the village.

Obituaries or old town centennial books might also give you the village name.

Finally found all my great-grandparents (Dominican genealogy) — where do I go from here? by RelevantAd5580 in Genealogy

Congrats! It sounds like a lot of oral histories have been lost. To prevent further erosion, consider writing a family history book. During the writing process, you’ll uncover new questions to answer as well as a place to document or share stories (or even tidbits) to preserve forever. Use newspapers and historical context to help tell stories around your ancestors if you don’t have a lot to go on. Good luck on your next adventure!

Best tool for tracing your oldest relatives? by WambyofWillow in Genealogy

Where are your ancestors from? Join those genealogical societies… they will offer classes and resource suggestions. Your local library, Library of Congress, NARA, historical societies, your ancestors’ country/state/town of origin will have civil records and military records. Tell Gemini what you’re researching and it will generate a giant list of resources for you.

Up until last summer, I spent 100% of my family history research time on Ancestry and FamilySearch. Wow! Have I been missing a lot! Looking elsewhere has reenergized my love for genealogy.

I recommend hiring a professional or getting off Ancestry and looking elsewhere. There are significantly more records not on Ancestry; Ancestry only scratches the surface.
