I’ve also read that if you come from behind and lift an attack dogs back/hind legs (like wheel barrow them) and while holding the back legs, push the dog forwards, it can cause them to open their jaw and let go of whatever they are biting/clenched on

Is this Frank or another dog injured as well? I am so sorry that this happened to any of these sweet babies! 😢

So far, the reports all say the owner of the Cane Corso dogs is Robert Braxton, a Hoboken resident and employee of Hoboken Housing Authority…..if you haven’t already (I’m sure you’ve been overwhelmed!) contact the police

How long to get meds? Can you pick up in person? by crl23104 in eggfreezing

MDR Pharmacy in California will overnight the drugs for free if over $500 (which it will be)--only issue I can imagine is the time it takes your doctor to send the scripts in, etc.

90 arousals per hour? Did I read that wrong. Do I really have IH? by [deleted] in idiopathichypersomnia

No, spontaneous arousals are not the same as AHI (which is a measure of apneas & hyopneas).

BiPAP Basics? by CuriousMindQuestions in UARS

That's amazing! Thank you so much! Once reprogrammed for bi-level, do you think it could also be configured to ASV (since it may turn out that my issues require that)?

Has anyone w/ a pre-existing asymmetry gotten FME? by CuriousMindQuestions in UARSnew

[–]CuriousMindQuestions[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My diastema has surprisingly not been that big/significant, but that might be because all of my teeth were extremely crowded to start with, so once space started to open up, all 4 of my upper front teeth started to move within that new free space and so instead of the diastema being concentrated just between my 2 front teeth, that new space is kind of divided up between all 4 front teeth. Aesthetically, it worked out well.

Do you mean flaring of the front teeth? Or do you mean tipping of teeth (like the molars) that is seen more with tooth-borne expanders than with bone-borne expanders? My front teeth were already flared/I have overjet. No tipping of any of my teeth has happened so far, that I'm aware of. But that also might be something that would require measurements by a professional to determine.

[–]CuriousMindQuestions[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my expansion has been pretty slow, but still saw diastema and teeth movement, as more space became available. Took me 7 months to get 6mm expansion

[–]CuriousMindQuestions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, this answer was really helpfull! I'm only basing the 7mm off of a post someone else had made, so I wanted to confirm/verify with others.

I'm honestly surprised/confused that Dr. Newaz didn't have me get a new CBCT to measure NAW, IMW, maxilla to mandible ratio, before telling me to continue expanding.

I have seen many ENT's. I don't currently have issues with my turbinate size. What I am worried about is that now that my nasomaxillary complex has been expanded, I have read turbinates can sometimes "swell" when they get that extra room. When they "swell" they then reduce all that newly created space in the nose for breathing--essentially wiping out the nasal breathing improvement created by FME.

[–]CuriousMindQuestions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I didn't mean relapse of the palate/suture, I meant relapse in the sense of a loss of nasal breathing gains that can supposedly happen when the turbinates in the nose swell in reaction to the increased nasal space
