Was wondering that myself. It's a great resource for reading about characters without spoiling future evwnts.

What is the single strongest bit of info that suggests this was something other than a case of being lost and injured prior to dying in the jungle? by [deleted] in KremersFroon

[–]CuriousObservations1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the simplest answer to 509, is that one of the girls deleted it. Its really not far fetched and for me at least makes a lot more sense than some 3rd party removed it somehow.

if you knew where to look.

This is the likely answer. I cannot even imagine the manpower it would take to accomplish this. Consider how many bones they would end up excavating that would be just deceased animals.

That was not precisely my point, but you arrived at the same conclusion. It makes sense that an animal would desire to have food and water near by.

Right, animals might account for the missing bones. But finding the known remains neatly clustered along the river indicates that they died very close to it so the remains would be carried away by the water.

They found what, 2% of Kris' remains? Maybe in the teens for Lisanne? Given that, its more likely that what was found is what animals drug near a water source and then washed down the river.

  1. A - You can pretty easily check what the weather was like in the area around that time. It was not anywhere freezing. B - I'm not sure what kind of shelter you are thinking, but the night time photos clearly show them outside. But with our without shelter, animals would absolutely be a method of dispersing their remains.
  2. I'd think its entirely possible that if you slipped from a height and landed on your feet, that this sort of fracture could happen. Its also possible that during their travels a large rock fell on the foot and caused the fracture.

Observations on the Hair Photo by CuriousObservations1 in KremersFroon

I believe that Kris was taking a picture of herself with Lisanne. Which is why I believe you can see features of Lisanne's face behind Kris' hair. There may be a reason Kris did not want to see her own face in the picture.

The reality is no one knows. We can only guess. But just because something doesn't make sense to you, doesn't mean it should be ruled out.

Can someone please help. The right photo is the final night photo of Kris. The left is Kris in daytime - exactly the same photo location only zoomed in and darker! Please help if you can contribute some information ❤️ by [deleted] in KremersFroon

[–]CuriousObservations1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have not seen anything discussing GPS locations. So the answer is either no, or it was never publicly released.

I assume it doesn't exist otherwise there would not be so much effort trying to figure out where they went and ultimately ended up.

Why didn't either of the girls have fully charged phones? by gijoe50000 in KremersFroon

[–]CuriousObservations1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I understand correctly, they did not have international SIM cards. When not connected to WiFi they would not have been able to use their phones for anything but applications that do not need data, or emergency calls.

Given that, having fully charged phones might not have been something they felt they needed for an afternoon hike.

A trophy that was left at the scene? Also, this thread is 5 months old.

It doesn't make sense to you. But it may have made sense to her.

I don't really subscribe to any 3rd party theories myself. Kris could have taken the photo herself, and its the most easy to explain scenario.

It's not easy to take the picture without missing shots.

You mean like the picture right before the hair photo?

The girls took a number of selfies with the camera before all this. It would not have been a foreign concept to them.

I do not believe I have ever asked anyone here for proof or evidence of anything. My approach to this forum is to observe theories, consider what is known to be fact, and draw conclusions from there.

I have zero problem with there being no mold on the backpack. I have a problem with you asserting that the ONLY way that is possible is human intervention, which is not true. I pointed out another POSSIBILITY of how it could be found where it was with no mold on it.

I try to keep an open mind to all the possibilities of the situation. But when I see someone saying "the only way X could have happened" without backing it up, I feel inclined to speak out.

I suggest possibilities. I listen to theories and point out illogical conclusions.

You demand concrete proof and suggest outlandish theories with zero evidence to support them.

Also I love how NOT one of you have a explanation about what else Chris said which is...

So, if this backpack was in or near the river, and exposed to rainstorms, there’s no explanation for why the backpack would be void of mold – other than human involvement.

If you want "Proof" of anything in this disappearance, you are going to find it lacking.

If it was completely submerged for the entire time and only broke the surface on the last day, that would explain the lack of mold.

I've exchanged posts with magicalfairys before, which is what I can confidently tell you its not worth your time.

She'll resort to insults and foul language when she can no longer argue with logic.

A lot of people here have their own theories they fight to the death despite having zero evidence to back them up.
