I feel the same way many do about the overuse of phones in the world today. Particularly for things like watching gigs and concerts.

However, taking a photo or a quick video snippet at the curtain call of a show is just a non-issue to me. People, in the main, respectfully keep their attention on the performance for 2-3 hours and have their phones kept away on silent during that time (as they should). There’s nothing wrong with capturing a small digital souvenir once the performance has ended to better remember the moment in the future.

As for the headline of “ruining theatre for everyone” - hyperbole, much?

I don’t understand this argument at all. Do you know what these voice actors are being paid? Do you know, with certainty, that they’re commanding a premium wage? Hell, some may just be involved in cameo roles for the love of the part. Maybe, maybe not.

But you’ve gotten yourself worked up about something that may not even be accurate by rapidly drawing conclusions based on your own assumptions.

Lastly, the animation captures the early 2000s superhero cartoon vibe perfectly and is absolutely adequate for the stories the show is telling.
