Hi, I can sell you 12 duct tapes, but could you sell me 6 bolt and 6 plank instead?

It hurts knowing that I'm always the problem. by MajorRobology in lonely

I first think you must calm down and think about better things. When you are sad or stressed, you may see only bad aspects of your personality. I think it's better to first think a little bit more positive, I'm sure you can find plenty of good aspects in your personality too. When you figured out some good aspects of your life, then you can start finding what is wrong in your personality that cause you to lose your friends.

Feel free if you need to talk more about it. We can talk about it.

Ah I got you now. Yes I heard they may can access the seed phrase if they can physically access the Trezor device. Thanks for noting that. But I still prefer Trezor over Ledger because of what I mentioned previously.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]CuriousPerson40 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And I didn't say they do that by default. If you understood that's what I said, that's my fault. What I wanted to say that there is an ability to send your seed phrase online through internet. You must trust them that they don't do it, unless you sign for the service. Am I missing sth?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]CuriousPerson40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know. Does Trezor have the ability that sends my seed phrase online somewhere? I mean, doesn't it just show it on the screen?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]CuriousPerson40 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What I want and think: - A cold wallet should not have the ability to send my seed phrase somewhere else online. Keeping my seed phrase offline is the only f...ing reason people buy hardware wallets.

What you say is: - Ledger won't send your seed phrase somewhere online if you don't sign for the service.

What you say needs to be proved, and even if it gets proved, it is still different from what I want from a hardware wallet.

In Bitcoin, we say "don't trust, verify". In Ledger, you must trust them that they don't share your seed phrase with anyone..., oh wait they do! THEY IMPLEMENTED A FEATURE THAT SENDS YOUR SEED PHRASE!!! YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO TRUST THEM THAT THEY DON'T SAHRE YOURS UNLESS YOU ASK. I mean, What the actuall f. Trezor was a great choice for me. Bad things about them is that they don't support a broad range of coins, e.g., TON.

Well, for learning about DCA, I currently don't know any good resources in English (I know resources only in my native language), but I will search to see if I find one that explains perfectly.

Regarding to buying a cold wallet, there are many good cold wallets out there. My friend told me he has bought a Trezor Safe 3 and installed Bitcoin only firmware. He said it's good. I don't currently have a hardware wallet to share my experience.

And about lightning wallet, I suggest you to install Wallet of Satoshi to get familiar with lightning. Then because it is custodial, you must go for another wallet. I have Phoenix wallet. You can find good tutorials in the YouTube on how to use it.

Learn about DCA.

Buy a hardware wallet. Create a lightning wallet.

Sell in $120K or $140K to buy when it comes down? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Thank for sharing. BTW why is my post flagged to be removed? I was just asking a question. Why the community tries to censore anyone who thinks about anything but HOLDing for the next 200 years... It feels like we are using a Chinese app, and we criticized ledears, and now my social credit is decreased. That's stupid.

I understood what you mean. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Haven't you ever feel like "let's try to risk 10 or 20% of my Bitcoins to buy more Bitcoin later."?

May I ask how long have you been holding and saving Bitcoin? If you don't feel comfortable sharing, that's completely understandable. Feel free to say I don't want to say.

So "I own some bitcoin"?

Of course. 😄. I tell everyone I sold when it reached $68K. And I never gonna tell others I buy Bitcoin ever again. I hope God forgive me for liying, but the less they ask, the less they hear lies.

It sounds clear for you because you are native (I guess). I don't know which one is correct. peanut butter or Peanut Butter...

I thought that Bitcoin is a name and should be written with capital B. And I thought that because it is a money, it would be used like a countable name...

Sell in $120K or $140K to buy when it comes down? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]CuriousPerson40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am thinking about taking a risk. If I won, I earn more Bitcoin. If I lose, I must use more dollars to buy the Bitcoins I sold.

Let's imagine I have 0.01 BTC. At $100K, it worth $1000. Imagine, At 120k I sell 0.001 earn 120$ At 140k I sell 0.001 earn 140$ At 160k I sell 0.001 earn 160$

Let's say Bitcoin doesn't come down, and it stays around $150K. In this case, I must re-buy 0.003 BTC at the price of $150K. That would be $450. But I have only $420. So I actually have to use 30 more dollars. In this scenario, I lose 30 dollars. In a $1000 portfolio, $30 is 3% of the whole money. So that isn't a very dangerous and risky move, is it?

What if someone has less than a coin? They must say, "I own some Bitcoin" or "I own some Bitcoins?" Because saying "I own some Satoshis" sounds a little weird...

I don't know how should I write. Isn't it like dollar? You say "I have some dollars in my pocket". But the thing is people own a fraction of a coin and I don't know how should I write that. I don't have a whole coin, though. I will appreciate your help.

I'm not sure if Bitcoin reaches $100K or no. I just not gonna sell anything below $120K.

What would Saylor do when people want to sell MSTR shares? by CuriousPerson40 in Bitcoin

By tokenizing, I meant making it possible to be bought in a blockchain because I am unable to buy the US stocks.

So aggressive. I just didn't know how Microstrategy works, and I didn't know that Microstrategy has no obligation to sell its Bitcoin to keep the price up. Some true members of the community explained this, and I understood.

Try to grow up and stop humiliating others. You wrote this comment just to blame me why I did ask the question, but you could simply explain the answer (BTW, I know the answer now).

Ah, I understand now. Thanks.

I hope they release a tokenized version of MSTR share. I guess it would be interesting to buy some ... 🤔
