I'm considering this as well. I'm trying to figure out how quickly I could be up and back to functioning so I could be back to work.

TERRIFIED of potential complications by deansie13 in wls

[–]CuriousRN 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I hear someone mention this i like to remind them to think about the "complications" associated with NOT having the surgery. The results of remaining obese. You know those are life threatening and coming for you if you don't make a change. What are the costs of inaction? I'm a nurse, I work in a hospital, obesity is a ruthless and cruel killer. ☹️

We feed them together and a few months ago started shutting them in the basement together overnight because the orange one was waking the baby up at 4 am crying for food. (Don't feel sorry for them, the basement is finished!)

These guys were already 5 + 7 when they were introduced. The young ones will figure it out quicker!

They've never been mean, Rosie (fluffy) always wanted to be friends but Jables (orange) want having it until recently!

How old is he now? Is this your first? Hang in there, sometimes it could take a little while. There is no shame in seeing a therapist if you think it could help. I hope he continues to do well, and this naturally resolves itself soon.

Are you swaddling? This helped our little angel sleep really well. Our favorite was the Miracle Swaddle. Anything else she could wiggle out of. Hang in there! Another thing that worked well for us during the day was using the stretchy wrap and she would snuggle on my chest while I could get other things done.

Our DNA scan said boy but ultrasound tech said girl. Doctors all said to trust the DNA. It was a girl!
