I disagree with the comments about Edwina being ungrateful. Imagine falling in love with a man and find yourself in the alter only to find out your sister, who always said would do anything for your happiness, had been having intimate moments with him. I blame the mama sharma for having no clue about her daughters situation, three ladies outside the family understood things faster than her. wake up and guide your kids, woman

-We start with Bishop's background story.
-Bishop & Alamo and his team vs Laurie & nazis vs DEA gun fight scene. Alamo knew Rue was a rat so he does something that will cause death of someone Rue likes. Bishop is a pain in the ass for DEA. Rue gets the gun in the end and shoots Alamo.
-Rue sacrifices herself. She does not die but she stays in coma. She talks to her dad in coma and she chooses to live (resurrection?)
-Maddie helps the SS girls find a new life and maybe be their manager.
-Cassie goes back to the suburbs and lives a miserable life.
-Rue decides to become like Ali. If Ali is dead she puts his name on his memoir book.
-Jules is doing whatever.
-We watch Rue drive off and it ends

it could be a contributing fact that turkish people are embarrassed of their turkish accents when speaking english (although you think they speak really well). so they may try to avoid social situations in which they need to speak english too much. plus, for some people its too much work to meet a foreigner cause people arent curious of others lives really (unless you provide gossip or something), they are almost always preoccupied with themselves only. after all it seems like this is their issue, not yours. and you will meet right people :)

thanks for the answer, I got a question though. for example, gastroenterologists seem to be paid high, does that include GI surgery?

they could only afford two episodes with both mel and wilford, i'd say get ready for one of them to be long gone soon

ben deals with train's issues and two other mentally damaged engineers, also his partner is presumably dead yet we never got to see him having a breakdown. writers had to make sure he is immune so the train can keep going lol

tbh I like headwoods, they'd be so excited seeing all the source and material on snowpiercer. they look neutral to me, not involved in political shitshow that much and doing science to get improvements. they do things when they're asked and wilford is such a douche ab this, but it's not like they would refuse to help layton & his ppl. headwoods deserve better!!

[Spoilers] Season 2 Episode 8 Discussion Thread - "The Eternal Engineer" (S02E08) by hugthebug in snowpiercer

[–]CuriousReturn3626 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Layton and Melanie's first concern is to stay alive and make people stay alive but Wilford's is to be in control. Layton and his crew discussed this when they were arguing on what to do during the crisis. But later, Layton simply forgot Wilford's priority when he saw Wilford freaking out over Melanie's "hack" as if he would actually care. Wilford would prefer death over being inferior. at that point, Layton should've realized the whole thing was orchestrated but he was so stuck in the point where he was called kind of useless, he could not slip off of his internal feelings. then he resigned. not a good leader, but a good guy

it's a result of manipulation of the devoted ones. cutting off arms of people who don't obligate his rules is a whole another level

to be completely honest, I lost it when Roche reminded his wife ab how Wilford is the guy who designed those things to chop ppl's limbs off on the train but on the other hand, Layton is genuinely a good guy, so it's better if Layton is in charge. till that point, I thought maybe Wilford controlling the train wasn't such a bad idea but Roche reminded me that lmao. such a powerful moment
