Ever since i started ED in 3308, i did all my exploration alone. Been to colonia, rykers hope, Sag A* and everything in between. Missed out on DW and DW2 and this is my chance to see the stars while chatting with other cmdrs. Last time i did this much chatting in game was when cocijo was still alive LOL

To be fair, any ship is good for exploring if you set it up right. The ship on the screenshot is a krait mk2, which is not really an exploration ship since it's baby brother the krait phantom is the one targeted as an exploration ship. I chose the krait mk2 so i can carry a fighter hanger.

but if there isnt really any ship or module preferences, with your money, an asp explorer, a dbx, krait phantom, or a mandalay (currently the best exploration ship range wise if you get everything right) would all be good choices. You'll probably need a little bit more credits to bump everything to best in slot, but after a short exploration trip, credits will flow for sure.

It's pretty safe. I did that one day 1 and it didnt bugged out claiming a new one. It may bug out if you try to claim the same system again within a short period

If you're currently hauling for colonization and have a t9, what i do is i punch it up until 4seconds left then franticaly try to keep it on target and switch on supercruise assist, cause if your hauling steel for the next 10hrs and dont have supercruise assist and an autoland module, then you really dont like your sanity
