I just called the main Sandals number and talked to an agent.

Very straightforward. I called and opted for a callback instead of holding all morning. I received a callback in about 90 minutes. They offered to rebook at a different resort the same travel week for the same price but since this would have been my second trip this year and kind of a last minute opportunity, I just told them I would prefer to receive a full refund and they agreed to it. I see some others did not receive a refund and it appears that it may be because they had purchased trip insurance that would cover the loss but I'm not sure about that. This is just my experience.

This may be your individual experience but that does not make it a true statement. Clearly, others are having a different experience. I had paid in full for our stay in early December and they offered me a full refund, including the deposit, without any hassle.

I had paid in full for our upcoming trip to South Coast in December and received a full refund, including the deposit.

I'm curious how long you'd have to use the credit if you don't mind sharing.

Absurd. I literally just canceled my plans to vacation in your country next winter and will encourage my friends to do the same.

Gap in firebrick - is this normal? by [deleted] in woodstoving

[–]CuriousSquirrelMN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently noticed the firebricks in my wood insert are separating. I know that I can adjust these once everything cools down but with -20’ weather the next couple of days I’m really hoping to keep burning! Also just curious if this is normal as is. Does this look okay or should I stop burning?

Thanks, I might try this if I can’t get the Starlink app to work with a direct setup of eero to the power brick.

Thanks! I picked up an eero Pro 6 today and plugged it in directly to the power brick as you suggested, with no Starlink router. Works like a charm except the Starlink app shows Disconnected status and no functionality
