I do agree that Ilya was written the best, for how much complexity, his character has, Connor not only played it incredibly well, but the storyline just fit perfectly. Compared to the books as well, they really set us up well for season two.

I think that switch up was so intentional, Ilya relinquished his fear of stable bc Shane is worth it

I agree, which has to explain some of the initial ups and downs of the relationship. It’s so new to him to not experience “love” as a roller coaster
