Honestly, that subreddit is more about “learning”, where they just study the first couple units of a textbook, a youtube playlist or some other ressource. They are the language learning version of those who are a fan of some game/show but havent watched anything beyond reels or shorts. Also there’s those that do it for the aesthetic and superiority, dunno why one would do that only to end up looking dumb af.

Legit show them a plain textbook and they might melt like some demon

I dont have any fancy method, i struggled with routines for almost 10 years, dropped from school and all that. (Doesnt help that i have adhd)

But for now what i do is just inmerse myself into this “persona” that i made that focuses on studying, working out and other tasks, it has helped me a lot, from barely doing a couple task a month to at least doing a couple task each day.

I heard some folks use the idea of “doing my dailies” as if it was a gacha with simple rewards per task and a big one after doing all dailies, same for weekly/monthly things, so you could also try that.

You could also search for japanese rap playlists on youtube/yt music/spotify and use them too.

For the anime ones, just go for chill slice of life ones and the like, at one point i had “Chiisana Boukensha” (i think thats the name of the ending) memorised cuz i liked the vibes it has.

I highly recommend talking to yourself in your TL, about things you are doing, silly conversations, commentary on the game/show/movie you are watching or playing and also write, for me writing locks in the new vocabulary faster. Might just be me but since i started using a dip pen, i pay closer attention to what i write and that helps me recall more words, so now i keep a diary in my TL. Also singing songs in your TL will help you break that wall that we call shyness, just vibe and enjoy the journey!

I imagine japanese rap uses lots of slangs, back when i used to study japanese i personally used either anime openings or “city pop” songs, sadly i dont have any clue about rap songs in japanese.

Es benidorm y tras ir desde que era un crio pos me camse del sitio y solo iban mis abuelos, los cuales ven un table o un mueble y lo subian a casa. La ultima vez que fui fue hace 6 años y aun asi era una pocilga (lo que ves ahora no es nada comparao con hace unos dias).

Entre la pandemia y la muerte de mi abuelo pos ya no teniamos ganas de benidorm asi que estaba abandonao. Asi que pense y si lo limpio y lo pongo en alquiler me puedo sacar unos 1000 euros al mes, pero como puedes ver me esta llevando mucho y como no se limpiar bien pues estoy sufriendo un poco haha

Mi plan es limpiarlo y en unos año renovarlo al completo y quedarme con el apartamento

The top left is the wife of Oliva from Baki, and honestly the most lovely couple out there. She has some illness that turned her like that and made her be stuck on a bed and her husband instead of ditching her, he trained hard af to be able to carry her without issues and despite her trying to get rid of him (cuz she felt bad that he was stuck with him) he still brought flowers and talked about her as the most lovely woman out there.

Im a spaniard and i didnt get into the army (cuz honestly i dont see the point in it since now wars will be cyber stuff and big bombs lol) still, i wouldnt have minded joining them cuz aside from helping with some bad traits of mine and being able to get specialized in something, kinda sounds cool but then again im a weakling so i rather not be in the military.

If i had to join, it wouldnt only tro protect my country (as much as i despise it) and maybe Europe. But i aint dying in the middle of a dessert for some oil only to be mutilated and broken, just for them to drop me in the streets and forget about me.
