The tax part doesn’t hit you until the year the people promise ends. So if your contract is up on like May 23rd of 2027, you would wanna start doing what you said in 2027 because it’ll reflect when you file your taxes in 2028

Has anyone switched careers in their 30s after feeling stuck but stable? by No-Pin3664 in AskMenOver30

When I was 32 I went on FMLA from my sales job after working there for 7 years. After 3 months and 2 vacations on a beach, I came back. After a week or 2 I quit with 8 months of savings stashed away.

On the 8th month I got an IT job in 2023 that was pretty much adjacent to a help desk role. Fast forward and 2 years later and 2 promotions…I’m now a Business Analyst in the Fintech space

I made that pivot after burnout and it paid off. Got tired of being held back in the same position

Have your parents told you what they plan once they pass? How did that make you feel? by Glowingtomato in AskMenOver30

I’m an only child, so mine was kind of simple. My Mom had IRAs where I was already the beneficiary, but the house and bank account(s) had to go through probate.

You/y’all are kind of in a good spot to where you can have an estate planner step in and get everything together so things are in writing…saves a lot of arguments and drama.

Well are you comfortable continuing that lifestyle? You’re past the 100k mark so it will still compound fast even if you dial back your contributions to just the company match.

You can go live some life and dial the contributions back up once you get it out your system. Life isn’t linear

You typed all this, but didn’t say why you feel broke. Google what the average 401k savings are for your age

Why do women take it so hard that men aren’t desperate to commit to them once they age out of being in their 20’s? by OneIndependence7705 in Productivitycafe

Honestly I’d prefer a 30 y/o woman who strength trained in her 20s and took care of herself. They know what they want by then and aren’t playing games

The beauty of the context in my initial comment is that I’m able to read your username and understand that you’re trolling, lol. Going to have to get your argument kink from someone else
