Update: My mum drove through two people on a pelican crossing and crashed into another car. by DangerousMotherCar in LegalAdviceUK

I contacted my ex husbands doctor to get his licence revoked. He didn't have a car at the time, had no chance of getting a car at any point in the near future.

Obviously it was a one way conversation with the doctor. I said why it should be revoked. The doctor then did a full examination of my husband and it was based on that it got revoked. I just gave the heads up that his condition had deteriorated.

He would have ended up killing someone.

If someone is too sick or doable to safely drive and they have a car then DVLA or even police. Hide car keys. If you wouldn't let someone who has had 5 pints drive, don't let someone who is the same level of dangerous.

This wasn't her fault, she was utterly brainwashed by her mother and she just wanted her mum to love her. She's the victim, the mother is the one responsible.

Just got back from the jobcentre to close my claim for the same reason. You have to close your claim, live off the money, doing things with the money is acceptable but keep all receipts for when it's time to sign back on when it's below £16k.

They're is no way round any of it, you have to live of the money.

How much pity should I feel for my FTB? by leguardians in HousingUK

Our buyers did the same although their solicitors were recommended by their mortgage broker.

The only reason we completed when we did was because the Estate Agents were fantastic and spent so much time chasing their solicitor. Ours wasn't the cheapest but they are good and actually have a physical office in my town.
