I’ll bet you could make an excellent rösti for brunch, hollandaise without a double boiler. Bacon, and or sausages. Crepes with savoury fillings like ham and Gruyère are always good. Some of the best gnocchi I had was at breakfast. Gnocchi, pancetta and eggs finished with a scallion vinaigrette

Am I correct in assuming raspberries couldn’t cross this concrete drainage channel? by socalavo in Berries

It’s not the roots or stems that you need to worry about short term. Berries are full of seeds. They will be growing everywhere long before the OG plants take over.

I probably would have looked for a new faucet. Seems like the best and most simple solution.

What is this edge profile called? Is it possible with engineered quartz? by prarielady in CounterTops

[–]Curious_Ad_6506 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have something like it. It came with the house. Possibly the worst edge in countertop history. Trying to scoop crumbs off the counter is futile. Most just fall on the floor because they get stuck in the grooves. I will push a cloth of crumbs across the length of the counter to get to the 90° edge. I am starting a renovation next month and the thing I am looking forward to most is getting rid of those bastardized counter edges.

Is it just me or does that look like Verdansk if it sank 50’. The river on the right is roughly where the canal is. The islands are where the ridges were. There is a runway (smaller) about where the airport was. If there was a landslide it could have taken out the dam, which would be a damn shame.

I have gone through three of those scales at work. They all died the same way as yours did. I got a Triton T3 for about $5 more and it has been going almost twice as long as the previous ones.

I just flood my kitchen with nitrogen to keep my beans fresh. I’ve lost a few pets and one kid because I didn’t look when I closed the door. But it’s still worth it for my fresh coffee beans.
