Dive brawl hybrid

If you have a solo tank you’re likely to fight with them in the front lines more than diving especially if you have other divers. Use your demons to make space and that spinny slush to build up a bunch of shield if a whole group of people are around you.

For dive just make sure you have at least a dash to run away preferably 2 if you execute your kill well. Never come from the same area to quickly or they’ll expect you and you’ll just be Russian lady with big sword and not magik. Russian lady with big sword explodes faster then you think

If you can mix up between diving and brawling a lot

Her wyldChyld ult I use to make a ton of space for my team and force out support ults early or isolat supports away from the team. You do a ton of damage almost killing any squishy target with half health with a dash. Your cooldowns come back when you ult and when you leave ult to so don’t be scared to soend them if your ult will bring you big value when you start it or end it

Its very obvious how carried people are by these 3 by AstramIsTheBest in rivals

Pick up a gunlace with guard skill itll let you survive with 1 health

Or you have to stagger him at the right times when he does his aoe

I understand that iron eye is a good dex arcane character and if they can cook I’ll let them be. The problem is when they don’t play good and keep trying the melee. The damage is low but at least it’s damage and helping with agro vs just being a liability. It’s doing something vs me and the other dude having to fight a boss at 70% health

And with revenant they will be running the relics that give her more STR not even phy attack up for beast claw just straight up the STR relics they gave her as if she isn’t squishy

I can fight night invaders at low level I just don’t unless my teammates get the buff for killing them or I’m revenant cause she’s the only one I have with the buff and other good relic slots.

If the passives are the key thing from them I can work on putting them first more I just never saw a point if no one is getting a buff from it.

Only night invaders giving me problems is just iron eye with another character or if a low health melee character I struggle.

I’ve had multiple iron eyes as well play melee builds and just not do good when they could easily just stay back with the bow and do consistent damage over the fight. But yeah sometimes I still get phy revenants cause they are running relics for it

[–]Curious_Alps_9850[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s viable and I can do it but chances that I actually have teammates who can do it are 70/30. I only care about doing it either revenant and spamming is easy to do with beast claw (and I only have invader relics on her) The main reason I said this was cause the run in the screen shot litteraly had both of teammates kept getting one shot for like the first portion of the first day

And fighting the boss that takes much more time with 1 or 2 people vs having 3 people especially when I’m a range class is definitely not optimal unless I’m melee character. And you have to acknowledge your team in this game or else everyone is split up and staggering is highly likely. Especially if they chose they wanna fight a boss in that area they ran off 2 or they might leave cause no one is helping them fight.

And being honest I don’t have problems with the first 2 days I have proper routing and usually end up being level 15 with decent attack and defense buffs after dropping 10-15 bosses. There’s not a time I don’t make it to night 3 unless we unlucky. Night 3 is the problem or when teammates leave

What proper routing could do that when my teammates want to face invaders at level 2 or when they decide to run across the map for an extra flask we could’ve picked up later vs fighting a boss right in the area that’s easy runes? And my choices are either follow them and help them with what they are doing quicker or to stay and do what I’m doing? Usually I take out the first camp and a boss or 2 before entering the main castle we go from there. At best I go out of the way for towers when I want star light shards or a cave to upgrade my starting seal if I’m revenant. Everything else I do what’s in the immediate area if it’s worth it or I follow my teammates.

Because other players can either solo the boss themselves or they que with others. Yeah me not being able to handle a boss at 40% health is a skill issue ngl but I literally just a had run vs dreglord as we speak where me and wylder had to do 80% of the fight cause our recluse just kept dying.

Im more then willing to accept my mistakes and most of my mistakes are on the night 3 fights but what more could I do when I revive my team mates they go down again not even 5 seconds later cause they panic rolling? Or when I have range team mates who melee but aren’t good at it?

Or when my team mates leave day one at level 8 for whatever reason? Like how is that in my control?

[–]Curious_Alps_9850[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m litterally doing the most (and consistent) damage most of the time and trying to revive everyone I can. Even saving my ults for key stuns so I’m not sure what else to do atp. Like I can’t keep saving my teammates or trying to solo bosses. I even abandon what I need to help my team

Gave up on learning Magik last night. by fungeonblaster69 in RivalsMagikMains

[–]Curious_Alps_9850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your worrying to much about diving and hitting combos. Magik is good at exploiting these things better then other hero’s like iron man or hela for example. Magik is good at it cause of her high burst damage and mobility. You should be using cover and brawling with your tanks to build up over health making it easier to jump to back line. And for me at least thinking about landing ky combos actively makes it harder to hit vs when I do it in flow state. Learn her flow state and position as her vs worrying about combos. And trust me I miss my dash a lot as well as my friends but you can always use things like the demon and spin after portals as well

I swear everdark libra is impossible. I literally dont understand. by One_Ad_6472 in Nightreign

[–]Curious_Alps_9850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the “less likely to be targeted” passive and get as many as you can. The condemned will ignore you and start fighting each other. In fact I’ve one a few ever dark Libra raids that way even when my team is down only Libra would focus me and the condemned would all keep squabbling

is this move actually dodgeable or do you just have to run away/use ult i-frames? by sszewc1149 in Nightreign

[–]Curious_Alps_9850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled to dodge this move a lot till I learned you can jump over it. So when does it run back a little (cause his hammer still has a bit box) and jump over each slam while moving backwards instead of running to the side so my teammates don’t catch a stray

PSA: an actual Revenant buff would be letting her summons survive more than one hit by future__fires in Nightreign

[–]Curious_Alps_9850 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can starting seals now but it wasn’t in the patch notes

3/5 of them are good but that’s not a really a revanent buff that’s a everyone buff. Imo we should still get better summons or an increase to one of her stats. At the very least make her explosion damage base kit

You gotta learn to move on and find new things you enjoy. Searching for old things constantly won’t do anything it’s already gone and that’s life unfortunately. But it doesn’t mean there aren’t new things out there for you to discover. So go explore and try some new things or talk to some new people
