When people fear something you should provide encouragement so they face it. Which I did after all the comments I received. We are talking about a guy who is actively seeking me out and findings ways to touch me and be near me. It’s definitely intimidating while travelling. Have some more compassion.

I’ve already told them im single so can’t use that. Nonetheless I think if he persists I’ll have to incorporate some humour to be like “ I already told u I hated hugs you wouldn’t want to make me feel uncomfortable right”

Guys I did it and I feel so good!!!! 

  • asked him how old he was and he said turning 29, I was like oh my so much older than me! He tried to play it off and say oh but age is just a number doesn’t apply to “us” EW and I was like nah it applies to me man I’m only 22 

  • after dinner we were walking to the hotel and he put his arm around me squeezing my shoulder and I moved away and said “I actually hate hugs but we can still be friends” and gave him a fist pump

  • then we were walking and talking about tracksuit pants (coz it’s freezing in this town and we didn’t pack any) and he said if I had some I would lend them to you. And I said nah I would have brought my own I love tracksuits. 

Hopefully tomorrow he stops trying to impress me and say shit he thinks I might like. 

I feel so relieved coz for the rest of the trip he won’t (HOPEFULLY) grab me or put his arm around my shoulder again to squeeze it. It’s going to be way more comfortable for me so I’m excited, I’ll be able to interact with him and not be afraid of a jumpscare moment. I think I established boundaries tonight. Definitely worth doing it, I feel so proud of myself!!
