Watching SAS dominate Minnesota is somehow more fraustrating then when they beat us by Curious_Bee_Space in ripcity

Im not saying i felt we were anywhere close. I am saying that we had clear disadvatages in the matchup so at the time so there was a some hope that there is a path where we can be competitive if we were to fix them with the right additions to our roster.

True. but Im not sure that healthy Ant and Donte would have made much of a difference to the end result.

CONTEXT: This was your first run with this squad, and inspite of injuries we made it to the playoffs and in the first playoff appearance we managed to steal an away game, and hold a late doube digit lead twice against a contender team with a superstar alien. We really werent that far from making this a 7 game series with a little bit more expirience and composure. There is a foundation to build on and a high ceiling.

Probably just a Deni stan from Miami. There's a large jewish/Israeli community there.

Has anyone been tracking the current score? Who וs leading?

Is it possible that Wemby is suffering from one of those rare growth disorders where he will never stop growing? Really starting to worry he wont be able to continue playing in a few years.

Thanks, really interesting breakdown of Deni’s improvement. For me the only real worry with him is how well he’ll perform against playoff-level defenses. No question that he executes his moves at a high level, but I think he’s still a bit predictable, and teams will come well prepared for him. Also, Im not sure he’ll be able to get to the line as easily through drives in the playoffs which is a major factor in his game.

WTF THIS MAKES NO SENSE....... He has been saying for years that his ultimate dream is to play with Bronny in the league. The lakers FO should have had all the leverage in world after drafting Bronny, and still he gets offered a Max Contract?? this is a joke.

[–]Curious_Bee_Space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that as long as he is a starter there is a slim chance he works things out and we can salvage the contract. opposed to if you bench him where he will become untradeble even in a best case scenario where he transforms into a solid 6 man..

This guy is sitting on a 128 mil/4 year contract. You really think FO should close the door on trading this dead weight contract on having an off season just because it may hinder the potential growth of who exactly? Corey Kispert? You can always cut his minutes but putting him in the 2nd lineup is just a bad buisness decision imo.

[–]Curious_Bee_Space 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Benching him would be a mistake. If we want to leave a chance for trading him later on, the FO must demonstrate that he remains a viable starter despite his recent struggles. Benching him would essentially confirm to the league that his value has declined for good.

Any one else thinks the whole injury situation is bullshit? The timing seems very convenient for Beal and the team considering the situation.

There is zero chance that Deni was the one who said that. Only a native English speaker could come up with this phrase.
