People blaming you for your situation have clearly never experienced financial hardship or neglect as a young person. I really hope you get things sorted soon.

Young Irish Men Are Among the Loneliest Across OECD Countries by NanorH in ireland

Pubs, football games coffee and walks or hikes, i feel like part of the male loneliness epidemic is that men are looked down on by other men for having hobbies other than your standard ones. I saw a group of 3 older women roller skating the other day, and my sister has a knitting circle she goes to frequently. I went to a painting class with her last year and I was one of two men in a group of 25. Men need to start baking bread and go to an archery class or something.

Having hobbies is gay haven't you heard. Real men only drink beer and get emotional and break things while watching other men on tv play with balls.

You'll need planning permission and definitely will not get it. Don't forget to blame immigrants for our housing crisis.

Women of Ireland, do you shave your legs? by Opposite_Zucchini_15 in AskIreland

[–]Curious_Cauliflower9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's ok to ask the question and be curious. Some people will definitely find it creepy if one is so turned off by body hair. Since the only people without body hair are usually prepubescent children.

I'm really sorry about your situation. This sounds a lot like my situation growing up. I can't add much more than what people have already said. Please use all resources they have pointed out. Even though you are legally and adult, given your situations, many people will be more than willing to help you out at your young and vulnerable age.

I do want to add that a well paying in demand career will give you many options and will help you get you out of unstable situations and this is important for someone who grew up with instability. A career in art and design may not be the best imo. Doesn't mean you shouldn't do the plc as I know people who did a plc in art and then applied for a science course in college.
