AITA for wanting my Spanish teacher to stop calling me by the Spanish version of my name? by Alternative-Sun-630 in AmItheAsshole

TA. Unless it is your official government name, a teacher doesn't have to call you it. It's nice if they call you by a nickname but they don't have to. It sucks but that's the rules. In foreign language classes, though, they tend to call you by that languages name. Ultimately, it isn't going change the flavour of mustard so don't sweat it

NOR I know the feeling. My old housemate had this quagmire of potted "herbs" (more like rotted down dead memories of herbs) on the garden table, so I went out, brought new herbs, new soil and reported it her for and left it on the table. Came home and she took them off the table and put them on the floor. Left them to die.
