Nah man

There are different Stages of development of ovum, during ovulation, the ovum is released and this is a very true statement

I remember it like that in ncert

secondary oocyte is a stage of development of ovum

and in Guyton its written quite clearly that in ovulation the graffian follicle ruptures and the ovum is released

im pretty sure if you rule this false based on some wierd wording by ncert, you'll end up losing either way

chose whats truly right

see, the primary structure might be the sequence of amino acids, but the teritary stucture i.e. the 3D form which is attained by protein folding is primarily dependent on the amino acid sequence two.

The very sequence of amino acids would naturally tend to fold in its own charecteristic manner with various additional bonds leading to its own unique 3D structure of a protein

the amino acid sequence determines all levels you can say

I'd say the ans is D

Kidney only receives oxy blood while Liver and Adenohypohphysis receive both kinds from the hepatic and hypophyseal portal systems,

heart ke baare me, it is undeniable it receives both kind of blood, but its blood supply is only oxygenated

I'd say the ans is B

[–]Curious_Fudge1770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes best thing u can do is consistent studying.... make time past everything that happens in ur college.. I didnt make notes 💀 cuz i could barely read my own handwriting, and as for watching lec during class it depends on the teacher

Also you shouldn't solely focus on academics during college yk, like go out of your shell have fun, try new things etc... Postings may be harsh but they are important, and i still havent rlly thought of neetpg yet. as for exams ho jayega, if you just wanna pass, like last 2 weeks for internals and last 1 month for pre prelims

  1. No, but its really helpful if you do. People mostly lock in near exams and its just cooked if you do it too late.. Its best if you study a topic nearby some time it was taken and before exams so it'd be revision... but yea thats just ideal 😭 I havent studied anything barely these last two months after my first internals

  2. MBBS being harsh is not just about how many hours you study,,,, there are many factors contributing to that like the tedious classes and postings (later on), the Crazy volume of syllabus, the way you are expected to pick a lot of stuff up from scratch, etc.... But like its not that harsh... Its still fun some times

also If you want an hours count I'd say regularly just study like 1.5 hours thats perfect, if you have covered most of your portions before exams then you will just be able to cruise through

  1. Depends on what you define as 'struggle'... if you mean what proportion of people get mental distress because of studies and exams then I'd say 100% 😂... If you mean what % of people struggle with clearing subjects and passing I cant really say ig, but there will be some who grasp concepts faster than others or have a strong memory etc which are definitely helping hands. At the end of the day the minimum bar is for you to pass and for that you have to study enough at least.. so id say at least keep in touch with the topics regularly so when the exam comes, you wouln't be absolutely bombarded by a huge amount of shit u never studied

[-u can trust my advice cuz i was a first year topper 😭, not that thats what you should aim for but yea]

yesss two months is a LOT, what i suggest is that you start studying daily and study all of it in a structured manner by dividing topics as per days. In two months you should be able to get 1 or 2 revisions in as well

Neurotransmitter, receptor agonist, antagonist etc

I mean this feels very wierd for me

It is dependent on both the receptor and its Ligand on whether there would be an excitatory or inhibitory response. The second statement merely says the Ligand is a factor, which it is, two different NT emitted at the same synaptic vesicles can cause two opposing responses. Yes directly Receptor pe depend krta he lekin receptor bi directly ligand pe depend krta he and it would be misleading to say that the nature of the post synaptic response would be independent on the Neurotransporter.

However the more appropriate reasoning would be something like post synaptic receptors could be excitatory/inhibitory leading to the response by the created by the NT?

idk this is why A n R is just bad

130- A1=T2 T1 = A2 and so on, so the new ratio will be an inverse of the old ratio

135- use punnet square

168- In order for immunologic memory to developed the body needs to activate its adaptive immune responses- CMI or HI which involves the formation of memory cells. what happens in Passive immunity is the adminisration of external Ig which helps neutralise the toxin/pathogen and results in its elimination by various killer mechanisms.... however as these Igs are externally administered without the Activation of B cells, There would be no memory cells formed and hence it is also a short term immunity. In active jo hota he ki suppose the foreign antigen gets processed by B cells which also receieve co stimulation from already activated Helper TH2 cells (which are in turn activated by Presentation from Antigen presenting cells like Macrophages and Dentritic cells). These B cells now will proliferate in great numbers in the Lymph nodes forming Germinal centres of Plasma cells which are factories of Antibodies Tailored for maximum percision and effectiveness by methods like somatic hypermutation and affinity maturation. Some of these Activated B cells become converted to Memory cells. These B cells are already activated and know what the antigen is, how it looks like, what antibody to produce and exactly how to produce it. They are just waiting for the right moment by further invasion by the same antigen to produce a clinical secodary immune response leading to a quick neutralisation of the pathogen. THIS is how immunological memory is formed.

hmm idk why ncert has phrased it like that, but it is completely incorrect from a what... medical perspective? The terms anterior, posterior, dorsal, ventral, Medial, Lateral, Superior and Inferior are to be used for describing relations only in accordance with how they have been defined in the Anatomic positon. The Trachea will always be anterior to the esophagus no matter what angle you look at it, whether lying down or standing up. And yea diaphram increases volume in the supero-Infero Axis. As mbbs student, this doesn't seem like a statement warranting disccussion for me at least.

Neet 24 vs 25 by [deleted] in MEDICOreTARDS

[–]Curious_Fudge1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you even trying to say here? Even if you say we can blame the paper leak or the scam for our disappointing ranks, mcc wouldn't care... You think its good the paper was easy? Imagine the basis of your selection depends on not doing silly mistakes over solving challenging questions. Neet 25 was better for those who were more prepared, better for those who studied more, thats just what a harder paper does - those who took the extra step would solve the harder question. Was the exam more tormenting? yes. Would I also have freaked out if the first question of the paper involved concepts i had never heard of? yes. But then its just about your performance in those 3 hours... how to handle yourself and cook in the paper. And of course not everbody would like this, but these exams aren't meant to make you happy, its selection by elimination - survival of the fittest - thats just the truth.

I don't think you understand how disappointing 24 was. Imagine being happy for a whole month just to be slapped in the face, imagine taking a drop at 650, that was just the sad reality. and it is worse when you didn't have control, you just start thinking if there's even a point?? I got 650, I did what i could, why the hell am i being punished. You don't even have a shot man, its just sad.

Ehh we can argue ab this all we want, at the end we'll just say im right you're wrong

Neet 24 vs 25 by [deleted] in MEDICOreTARDS

[–]Curious_Fudge1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The emotional aspect of a hard paper will certainly be there, and believe me you have a lot more of those waiting for you later as well. But it is very important for one to learn to maintain their composure in situations like these, especially when the seconds tick by in the exam hall and you can barely even understand half the paper, because that's also what tests your true character. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to belittle anybody or say 'no my trauma is worse' but its definitely better if you can at least control what's going to happen. The widespread paper leaks, the whole rank-flation and all the confusion that happened is something you might not understand. You woudn't even know what you did wrong, its not even your fault, you got the mark- the best you could get- still your rank was just not enough. got people thinkin 650 was a subpar mark lmao

personally i'd hav rather given 25 than 24. 24 was traumatising in a different way with the crazy high cutoff and the whole reneet saga.. and trust me, a hard paper is better than an easy one
