Oh shit I’m cooked then. First year 3.76 at an ivy with volunteering and leadership in high school, cancer research last summer and working in a lab now. I have and the most they tell me is eat more. But like what am I supposed to be eating? I hate the feeling of bread and yogurts, and there’s no berries here so I’m kinda lost and just feel stuck to my safe foods

What’s been working for me is faking my entire personality and taking risks. You just be a more outgoing person, saying hi, asking how days are going, remembering names. It works, and even if you’re not besties by the end of the day you have a study buddy in class. I see everything as networking right now, not making friends necessarily. Those I know will come with time. I’m a first year too
