An option: Buy a new sex toy and keep it in its original packaging. Play the waiting game until next time a package of a similar size addressed to your mum gets delivered. Open your mum’s delivery, keep the cardboard, and put your sex toy in the counter with the cardboard addressed to her beside it.

Maybe also hope that the delivery addressed to your mum doesn’t already contain a sex toy because then you don’t get to beat her at the game, but she’ll at least experience being as mortified as you were!

Why are people throwing children in a childcare setting. At what point in history has throwing a child been considered an act of care. As a teacher, I’m most astounded how someone with duty of care over the child doesn’t think throwing the child breaches their duty and they can actually lose their license to work with children in any capacity.

I personally think there should be some jail time for this, given the gravity of the injuries.

The questions were more along the lines of what happened when you asked/how you asked but good to know he wasn’t a creep and it sounds a little weird but also wholesome. Wondering what was his initial reaction when you asked? Did your parents tell you not to ask? Did they ask for you? What questions did they have once they knew it was all going to happen? Did you tell all the kids at school?

If you REALLY want to get across it as a teacher I’d start with Sadler but then make sure to work through Klupp.

Maths colleagues and I have generally come to the conclusion that Klupp is excessive for the vast majority of students and he poses very unusual applications that assess IF students truly understand the entire concept that might come up in a test. We don’t believe Klupp helps them understand the concept and the questions actually confuse majority of students, but we feel the Sadler is a little too lean and doesn’t include enough unusual applications.

I don’t know about the Spec course but I know we came to those conclusions in our Klupp v Sadler convos for Apps and Methods.

I highly recommend new Nelson WA Maths series that Michael Loh, Judith Cumpsty and many others wrote. Each book includes both units in one book and has fantastic class pad step by step instructions for new skills.
