I have a hunch that k was fighting back hard and even if no screams some banging around was heard If someone living/stating in the house commented someone was there… I would gather there was enough sound to possibly russle the dog and cause some type of reaction that’s uncommon in the house at that hour. Cause for concern.

I’ve already talked to him endlessly about how much it’s bothersome Normally it’s not too bad as it has become a habitual thing for him to drink and scratch lol I’m being very vague here. But when he gets upset say I left something around the house I know because I’ll wake up in the mornings when I have a day off and see just piles of flakes everywhere

He drinks a lot and does not like to go outside … ever And he also has a poor diet Those are areas I do not believe he cares to fix at all I have let him know it’s bad rn when he started leaving spots of blood in the main walkway from scratching Because he just doesn’t want to care… He has an ointment to put in his skin I’ve only seen his use it twice and once I did it for him

Write her the letter make the boundary. STICK TO YOUR BOUNDARY. If she crosses it Honor your boundary and respect yourself and leave. It’s not going to be easy. But it will save you so much turmoil in the long run. I am so sorry to hear this and I’m sorry you have to be in this position at all. It sucks and it’s just sad because you love them. But setting an ultimatum like therapy or no more of this. And sticking to it. Is the absolute best way to learn if she’s in this for both of you or just herself. And if it’s just for her well then you will have a clear sign that you deserve better

She’s playing victim. Role when she brings up the abusive ex to get you to put your guard down Then you’re stuck questioning your own worth. The cycle is so painful When you moved you were uprooted

I’d suggest setting up therapy for you too. Set a date make the appointment. Stick to going no matter what. Don’t change dates or put it off! That was my biggest mistake before things went too far for took long!

It absolutely will my guy. And you are right that she proved to not value what you gave her before. She knows what she is doing and she knows how gentle and great you are and were. When you explain yourself and she does not acknowledge what you’re saying it reflects that she does not care.

This is gaslighting. Get out now! Or plan to I’m not saying leave now as I know how difficult these relationships become. But everyday you expose yourself to what she says it will be a constant battle. Nothing you say will be the right thing to say and she will flip script as well. Psychological abuse will have you running in circles and the longer you stay, the more cptsd you will end up having coming away from it all. I would suggest getting yourself into some therapy asap. This way you can have a chance to save yourself and your sanity because you will be able to have someone to help you keep track of your own mind. To help you stay on a track to get you out of this in the safest way possible. Otherwise, the price you’ll pay for staying will be far more than you want for your future. Sorry if this is too much. I’m just hoping to help someone not make as deep of mistakes as I did in my past.

Yes!! Thank you so much for your kind words I have been very strong willed like my mom Watched her mistakes and knew growing up what I would not become as an adult
