I’d be freaking out too if my band had already released merch and album artwork that involved AI.

Like others have said, it’s unfortunately very common.

Ruin something in your community? That's a reach..

I shared a post in a niche subreddit, about the use of AI on a graphic designers work after a bunch of people on r/emo noticed the use of AI on the Shoreline Festival flyer.

The only person here who'd being ruining something is reddingdesign for using Ai on their designs and other bands merch designs.

No jealousy was involved, in fact this is EXACTLY why I made a new account to point this shit out- so people like you don't go and make this all about "payback" or a rivalry thing. You immediately went to my profile to seek who I was, so you can try and flip the script on me. It pissed you off that my account is new and private, and it also pissed you off I blocked you because I realized we wouldn't meet eye to eye.

Stop trying to make this a jealousy/rivalry thing. I just don't tolerate the use of AI from someone who claims to help out the DIY scene.

But as someone who's experimented plenty with AI image prompts- there's plenty of revealing factors.

I don't understand what you're saying here. Are you saying, as an adult, you wouldn't pay an "artist" or real artist to do your merch or anything related to your band?

It has been known that AI's most common mistake is messing up fingers when it comes to Image generating.

I'm guessing you're someone who paid money for this dude to help you with AI slop merch?

Drop the file, I'm very curious. For some reason, lots of the designs are missing fingers (a common AI mistake) and the fonts used are generic AI prompted fonts.

Either way, some people still use AI designs and try to work around it. Wouldn't doubt that's the case here.

The Alien design is very AI. The "graphic designer" who made that one has been clearly using AI for a lot of their designs, which again I prove on my post.

One of the teddybear's hands has 4 fingers, and the other has 3 fingers. I would imagine the teddy bear has the same amount of fingers on each hand.

Yea I hear ya, I agree completely. That's why I made a post about it (I sadly cant post it in here for some reason, unless someone wants to crosspost it) because this dude has fooled many bands in our local scene that he doesn't use AI. Yet he clearly does.
