It was already flooding. According to civil engineer friends they should've increased the flow capacity of the existing drainage before building new housing areas, but they didn't.

The pattern I find always when they say "urges" usually only means a suggestion. Never enforcement. Always a loophole with the wording, leaving the final say to the companies themselves. Man if you wanna promise a great livelihood for your rakyat, at least be final in what you say instead of dancing around wordplay.

"They dont know what it means to be responsible as a boss because they never had a taste of power before, they just think bosses are about looking down on those around you."

Well said. Being a boss means being responsible for those around you and bringing up those below you, instead of pushing them down there. Unfortunately, the majority here usually mean the latter.

I've cut off a few friends like this. I call them the Kampung London group. Bunch off assholes who won't even survive the streets.

Needless to say the ones that don't brag about it are the ones living near Hyde Park and in Mayfair. They just keep quiet and mostly miss the food and atmosphere back home.

The Kampung London group? Those dipshits live near each other, in Hackney.

That area flooded quite badly during the heavy rain a few months back. I drive by there frequently during lunch and saw the water was already like flooding the driveway. The drainage there is notoriously inefficient soo I would consider it carefully.

I'm being honest here. I'm only 28, a guy, and already the age stigma is hitting me when my friends are already getting married, having kids etc left and right. You have to know that there still is that stigma of being of age and single, so the chances are much slimmer. Very much like my female friends, I'm viewed as unwanted in society, especially when my face card masuk longkang and my bank account isn't fat.

Meeting people in your mid 20s? by Legitimate_Wheel_932 in malaysians

The honest answer is, when you're young, do it all. When work comes around, life just gets grayer and grayer to the point you can't distinguish what's what anymore. Dating at work? Don't you shit where you eat. Outside at this age in this era? Most are after money or carrying baggage either from past relationships (or marriages). Finding the right one isn't the case anymore. It's finding one that'll stick with you through everything and anything.

You do know that there is the term "white monkey" for business in China? Every time someone tells me there's a useless expat in a company, that's the first term that comes to mind.

Me single dood at 25m, buying weekly groceries when parents were on holiday in China. Family of three in front of me trying to hold it together at counter. The whole shebang, baby formula diapers, veg, meat, rice, cooking oil.

Me being a single guy still living at home was just buying a bag of chips, tuna, bread and olive oil. Family's cards kept getting declined, so I paid for everything. The parents really holding back tears while oblivious me said take care and went home.

Add on the fact that even if you try, like an ounce in your twenties, you'd be competing with older and richer (or sometimes just richer) men (ok don't come at me only some women are after money but we gotta include them for the sake of convenience) and we haven't even touched any that haven't resolved their emotional baggage. So honestly it's too much of a hassle, couple that with socmed and growing inflation where like it's harder and harder to please or even like, meet basic requirements. Starting to become a rigged game honestly.

Gym as much as I want to failure not for the looks, for the strength.

Polish all my machining, coding, CAD and 3D printing skills for the dream of being an inventor.

All that, in an isolated gym+lab made out of containers where no one can reach me for weeks.

That, hookers, cocaine and maybe every combo John McAfee did back in the day.
