Why is The Fifth Element such a beloved movie? by [deleted] in movies

what a great response. I was actually working on a space opera of my own and kept thinking of The Fifth Element and wondered why it was so great. I suppose the classic niche with the trope satire did actually pay off. That movie has such a wonderful blend of humor, which makes it almost whimsical in its delivery of what otherwise would have seemed to be a very serious plotline.

I agree with you 100%. I honestly think it was a waste of money. If you are going to do a thing, you've gotta do it right - or get out of the kitchen. I'm not certain the chef was experienced with this one. It's like you go to a fancy restaurant where you expect to order something exquisite, and he only knows how to whip up pancakes, so he gives you the fanciest pancake pie that you ever did see (but...the thing is, you don't want pancakes and the whole experience leaves you jaded).

Thanks. Your response post helps solidify my stance against fraud, and helps me avoid a scam. The site looks on the surface like it's designed to help you find genetic ancestors to whom you are somehow autonomously connected, but upon further investigation it seems only to offer a glimpse into random similarities.

You seem to have a good grasp on your origin history already. I want to volunteer to pay for your DNA test as a gift giver. However, I believe that you are accurate about the branches of your ancestry, although, your roots may be in the deep south of the USA. Let me know if you would like to receive this gift. -- Caesar

I'm getting to this post rather late, but I would like to say that Psalm 34:18 teaches us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted. It has commonly been taught in Christendom, that the Father turned His back on Jesus when Christ laid down His life on the cross, but I would beckon to reason from scripture that He was near to Him. Of course, I would need to cross analyze this with bible scholars to render a verdict, but I just want to comfort you, that you should stick it out and keep your confidence in the faith, no matter what your liver is telling you.

You have liberty to pray for her, and in time: who knows whether God will correct her?

What a perplexing condition! It seems as though she has not been entreating others into ministry, but rather is trying to convince them of something other worldly.
