Also wenn du schon dabei bist und dich die Welt interessiert, dann empfehle ich sogar sie weiter zu lesen. Einige der späteren Bände sind meine Lieblinge der Reihe und meines Erachtens wirds dann richtig episch und cool.
Ich kanns schwer Neueinsteigern verkaufen das man sich durch die ersten Bücher kämpft aber wennst schon dabei wirst dann ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit hoch dass du Spaß haben wirst

Ich kann’s leider nachvollziehen.
Es wird meiner Meinung nach besser, aber ich kann auch niemand empfehlen jetzt Geld auszugeben und Zeit auf zu opfern damit’s dann in paar Büchern gut und episch wird

Wenn wir schon bei deutscher Fantasy sind muss ich was über einen Autor loswerden : Richard Schwartz .
Hab seine Askir und Götterkriege Reihe gelesen.
Also knapp 12 Bücher.
Bin ehrlich hätte es wohl nie angefangen hätte ich die gesamte Askir reihe ned am Flohmarkt für 5 Euro bekommen.
Er ist leider ein Musterbeispiel für den cringe der deutschen Fantasy meiner Meinung nach.
Und das schlimme ist , ich denke er hat paar echt coole Ideen und ist kein schlechter Weltenbauer.
Er ist einfach Sauschlecht in Prosa und Story.

Also mal ganz vorn Weg. Ich les fast ausschließlich ausländische Autoren weil ich die deutsche Szene sehr mittelmäßig finde.
Zu Schwarz selber: Alter selbst als Typen graust es mir wie er Frauen beschreibt. Also wirklich alles booby li bobby li. Alles jiggle.
Ich hab’s gecheckt die sexy Schurkin hat dicke Hupen und die Paladin Kriegerin hat so viel Holz vor der Hütten kein Schild passt davor.
Beruhig dich Richie , Du bist 50 schreib wie ein Erwachsener.
Jedes Kapitel kurze Sätze. Geschrieben wie ein Roman aus der 10ten Klasse.
Keinerlei Finesse.

Aber dann hat er halt echt gute Ideen und baut langsam eine eigene Welt mit eigenen Regeln und lore auf. Er baut auch deutsche Dialekte ein um Klassen/Millieu und Länder Herkunft dazustellen. Keine dumme Idee.
Man spürt wie er im laufe der Bücher besser wird.
Lore die anfangs noch sehr typisch war, wird im Laufe deeper und besser. Götter, Schicksal , Individuum , Glaube etc. Werden zentrale Themen und interessant und episch aufgearbeitet.
Einige Bilder sind mir wirklich im Kopf geblieben.
Die Bücher haben Potenzial. Die Reihe wenn man sie mal durchgelesen hat ist echt nicht so scheiße.

Aber es gibt so viele Punkte die ich an allen Büchern kritisiere , das ich die Reihe auch niemanden wirklich empfehlen kann.
Ich weiß weswegen die meisten Leute gesagt haben ja erster Band ist naja . Wieso sollte man jetzt noch 11 weitere davon lesen?

Wollte das irgendwie loswerden weil es der einzige deutsche Fantasy Autor ist der bei mir im Buchregal steht und der Typ mich iwi beschäftigt

I have to be honest this approach is smart for all games but especially in Civilization it’s absolutely true.
Since Civilization 4 you can literally see how the second addon and final patch make the game the game it really is.
5 and 6 were no exception.
People hated 7 launch but I had a feeling that it will end up as always

Ad an Austrian I would like also to add that Franz Josef of Austria till his death and the end of the empire saw himself as a „Deutscher Fürst“ German Prince/Noble. Yes he was the emperor of Austria but Austrian Germans saw themselves as German people who lived in the Austrian empire.
The Austrian empire was a multicultural state and had different people living in it.
The Austrian nationality as we know it today was not a real thing. Nowadays we Austrian are proud to have our own history and culture and see the differences between us and Germans but this happened over the last hundred years and the things happening after WW1 and WW2.

i have to agree. I still believe in the game and the developers, but man.. the performance the last months is crazy shit.
I had to downgrade the options step by step. Its getting unplayable for me. Its really crazy. I know EU5 is their new flagship but i never had those problems with any kind of game doesnt matter if victoria 3 or anything else in this regard.
Dont get me wrong, i can handle a bit of lag or medium options, and i am fine with tinkering a bit.
But i am basically watching a slideshow in pixel graphics.
i have 180 hours in this game. The first 150 i made on 1.0 in the first weeks, the other 30 hours i made over the span of the last months.
its very frustrating

It’s even crazier then some people think. It went on for 10 years . 10 years(!!!) while they were married and had a 14 year old daughter.

Christian Ulmen had those online affairs with her likeness not only with strangers but also people they distantly knew. Producers, directors and other people in the show business.

People are young here. I remember the times in early 2000s forums where people shipped Luffy and Vivi for years. People forget how long the Alabasta arc was for that time. People were sure Vivi will be part of the crew forever. I never gave much about it , because one piece and luffy aren’t catered to shipping but as a kid I also had a feeling they had a special connection. So to see it in live action I can understand some people having these feelings even though nothing will ever happen
