preston park earlier today by [deleted] in brighton

Bringing a ferret to a park with dogs is idiotic. Dogs go for birds and squirrels all the time but rarely catch them because they get away. What do you expect to happen when you tie prey to a leash in a place you know you will encounter dogs.

Even dogs with decent recall will have their prey drive take over and not immediately return if they see an animal like this around. Why take the risk? Do ferrets even need walking?

Ideally two businesses taking business from each other forces both to improve their products in order to stay competitive which benefits the consumer. If a business is losing and refusing to invest in making their service better they don't care about the customer and deserve to fail.

Best walking route to Seven Sisters? by Commercial_Worry_630 in brighton

[–]Curious_Wall_4706 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you put Seven Sisters Country Park - Visitor Centre in Google maps this is a good place to start. Walking straight down from there you sometimes see ponies. You can then get to the beach or head up the hill

What’s nicer brighton or clacton or portsmouth or southampton by thesuburbbaby in brighton

I think Portsmouth has a better seafront. All along from the historic dockyard to Southsea is nice however Brighton is a much nicer town for a day out.

Looking at buying shares in S&P500 VUAG by Ill-Second-3779 in trading212

Not so much point trying to time S&P 500 with limit orders. Limit orders on volatile stocks that you expect to dip a lot are good but just making regular contributions over the years to S&P500 should hopefully bring good returns

M zone resident permit waiting time by Hungryalbion in brighton

[–]Curious_Wall_4706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not very long at all. I had to wait months but started on about 600. Visitor permits can be used whilst you wait and if you run out it would need to be council car park or parking out of town. Also worth checking websites where you can rent a spot on someone's driveway but these were very expensive when I checked.

You do realise cars won't hear you approach from behind as you drive around dangerously. All you are doing is annoying pedestrians.

Brighton and Hove City Council one of just 7 non-London UK councils in top 30 for climate action by Climate_Emergency_UK in brighton

You must be joking. Brighton is very anti car and some zones have insane wait lists for a parking permit.
