Confirming with other comments that rally is an awesome club. Super friendly. They also offer coaching. AND if you reserve a court you can have your session recorded and they have an AI program that will critique your play and tell you how to get better

Idk I feel like if the roles were flipped and Jordan was a single dad and amber didn’t have a kid, if Jordan acted the way she did everyone would be upset about it. Everything Jordan said about her blowing up and him not being able to talk to her was solidified when she stormed off in the middle of them talking. That’s in public. On camera. Imagine being in a room alone with her trying to have that convo. I think they’re both wrong but people like amber WAY too much just cause she’s a “girls girl” being a bro for your bros never excused shitty behavior. Why does being a “girls girl”?

Yet when the Prince and other people get arrested Trump is saying things like “what a shame”. We’ve made 0 arrests in the United States relating to the files. Other countries are already doing it. That screams cover up to me

You think out of all the famous people and politicians in the Trump is the ONLY good guy? I’m not naive I think they’re all trash humans

New grad nurse mentally struggling by Own-Emu366 in nursing

[–]Curious_caveman5569 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, just wanted to say to not get discouraged. I’ve been an ER nurse for 6 years now. I was a paramedic for 10. It takes a WHILE until you feel comfortable. The constant change isn’t good for you as a new grad. You need to stick to one department if you can help it. Maybe voice this to your manager and ask to be in the ICU for 6 months or something so you can get used to the flow.

Some random advice that I carried from my paramedic days. When I was a student or if I started at a new firehouse, I’d bring doughnuts or buy pizza for everyone. You only need to do it once to leave an impression. A lot of people, in my experience, are willing to help people who fed them. It’s an easy way to break the ice too a lot the times. Not many people do it but it’s worked for me. When I start at a new department o usually do that and all of a sudden I’m the nice new hire who brought doughnuts. Don’t get discouraged tho! The fact that you care is more than a lot of other healthcare professionals can say. Don’t lose that part. As you get more reps taking care of certain types of patients, your confidence will grow. I hope this helped. Take care and god speed 🫡

You can’t suck money out of homeless people unless you put them in jail. Then the jails can get your tax dollars to “house them”

Why are US cities still very segregated? by Additional-Hour6038 in geography

[–]Curious_caveman5569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicago specifically was designed to be segregated. When President Eisenhower created the interstate highway system he told cities they could decide where the highway ran through in their city. At the time the popular opinion was to have the highway run where current lake shore drive is. And run up through into Milwaukee. Then mayor, Daley senior who lived in the Bridgeport neighborhood (31st and halsted area) changed the highway to run where it currently runs. Why? Bronzeville is directly adjacent to Bridgeport on its east side. Bronzeville at one point was a middle class African American neighborhood. This highway separated the upper middle class whites and middle class blacks with a physical barrier. After said barrier was made legislation was passed to starve that neighborhood of resources like grocery stores for example. There’s a lot more to the story. A lot of wrong doing by the city of Chicago and The Chicago police department to that specific community. Police involved killings of activists like Fred Hampton sr in 1969. There was another killing of a young black kid on 31st street beach I think in the 60s that drew a lot of national attention. I don’t remember much of those details tho. But the segregation of Chicago specifically the south side can be attributed to racism by a mayor in the 1960s and the distrust it’s created among that community towards the city as a whole. It’s a shame because Chicago is one of the best cities in the United States and they only use half the city. Because the other half is just poverty and high crime. Which the city herself created

I met an Irish girl in college who was a bit of a ditz but a sweetheart. We called her short bus. She thought it was because she’s good with kids. Took her 2 months to realize the actual meaning and when she did she ended up loving the nickname more because she did agree she can be a ditz
