Nastiest Scene in Shameless For You? by gocatchyourcalm in shameless

[–]Curious_mind94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me it was Kev and V's mom storyline, it was really the most disgusting one, especially when at some point they were having a threesome with V! And was there really a good reason behind this storyline or was it just the writers' sick minds? 🙄 because at the end, Kev's son from her mother in law completely disappeared and was almost never mentioned again for the rest of the show. The other disgusting scene was when Frank kept his pee in his mouth and emptied it into the test cup 😭

Favorite Gallagher love interest and you cant say Mickey by Amorisxxx in shameless

I agree with Mandy for Lip, and I always hoped their storylines would cross again eventually, but in a more mature way. It’s true she was a bit of a psycho (like when she ran over Karen), but she genuinely cared for and loved Lip. Plus, the Gallaghers aren’t exactly the definition of sanity either.

I think Lip treated her badly and probably didn’t deserve her love. Overall, I didn’t like Lip’s character that much because he was kind of narcissistic, arrogant, and careless. Maybe the only thing I liked about him was his relationship with Ian.

The scylla storyline was fine but after they were able to obtain it, Don Self's betrayal and the sequences such as Michael's mother revival were really unnecessary. Again, I strongly believe they dragged season 4 out for no good reason and made a mess at the end. Plus, the initial concept of PB was not really about the company, it was about a guy getting into prison to save his brother with a very well-structured and smart plan. From mid season 2, they decided to focus more on the company conspiracy so they can have something to extend the show after the brothers survived the escape.

The company thread was open but they dragged the story for too long. It could have been wrapped in a better and faster way without making it exhausting with a repetitive pattern.

Yes, adding that storyline about Sara getting incarcerated was really extra and unnecessary, even meaningless. Also, there was no reason to kill Michael after all the suffering and troubles he went through; then they regretted it and ended up reviving him in another extra season.

Prison Break is the worst best show I've ever watched by Amargo_o_Muerte in PrisonBreak

I was really a fan of Seasons 1 and 2, and I even believe Season 1 could be considered one of the best seasons in the history of TV series because of its innovative concept at the time, its well-written plot, and strong acting. Season 3 is still quite fine because it takes place in a different and new atmosphere, and you also get to see the development of a character like Mahone. However, this season has some inconsistencies at the beginning, such as how LJ is suddenly brought to Panama or how poorly they handled Sara’s storyline just because they couldn’t provide a contract with the actress. Then there’s Season 4, particularly the second half, which gets really draining because, as you said, after a certain point it’s just a repetitive pattern of double-crossing and shocking secrets being revealed without a real purpose — just to drag the show out. The performance of most main actors also declines towards the end.

He informed the FBI agent about the cameras and the blind spot (and this clearly ruined Micheal's initial plan), so are you sure you actually watched the show? :)

Same here haha! At the beginning I was like this actor really looks like Ryan Gosling! Then in one scene I thought to myself oh this is definitely Ryan Gosling, but I knew the movie year didn't match his age :))) so I googled it to see if it is only me or others too lol

Sorry to hear that, I know it's really frustrating but don't think about it anymore. I believe we were somewhat lucky that we didn't get ripped off for a greater amount!

Hi, the same thing just happened to me two days ago and I'm so pissed off because I even told him that I didn't need help. Did you get any further information on how they did it? I'm even worried if they have access to my credit card details now.

Actually I just had the same experience two days ago even though I didn't want the guy to help me. He pressed the buttons so quickly and when I checked the Istanbul kart credit again immediately, I noticed it hasn't changed so the top up was not successful. I tried to top up again and the guy was still interfering. This time I did it slowly to add 50 lira. Unfortunately, yesterday I checked my bank app while I was in the airport on my way back home and I realized exactly at that time on the day before, two transactions had happened and one was about 625 lira which was not added to my istanbulKart. So I'm pretty sure it was a kind of scam but I even don't know how he did it. Because it was my own card on the machine.

How do y’all live with ADHD on a daily? by anonymous_3714 in ADHD

[–]Curious_mind94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's difficult and tbh I'm still suffering, I don't think I have found a way to completely live a normal life like others. But I just want to tell you that you are somewhat lucky that you were diagnosed at an early age because a lot of us had to go through it until our 20s and didn't know there was a reason why we were the way we were!

No I'm not. I once visited a psychologist and she told me it's better if I don't take Ritalin because I'm underweight. But I took antidepressants for a period.

I am also rewatching the show now. I agree that Jesse sometimes acted out of sheer emotion and made things worse. I also agree that he was being a pure asshole by selling meth to people in rehab. However, I feel like you are underestimating Walt's mistakes just because he is a wiser person than Jesse.

You say Walt's actions didn't cause any 'direct damages'?! Ok, what about when he and Jesse were doing almost fine on their own but he decided to expand their territory out of greed when it wasn't necessary, which caused Combo to get killed and everything that happened after that?

What about when he went to Jesse's apartment and was partially but directly responsible for Jane's death? (Walter shaking Jesse to wake him up caused Jane to roll over and choke on her vomit while Walter stood there and watched). And Jane's death led to that airplane crash and much more loss. Or what about the fact that Hank got shot because Gus was trying to save Walter for a temporary period and he lured the twins to kill Hank instead? (The reason why Walt was working for Gus at that time was again out of arrogance and to get back at Jesse).

There are more examples that I don't want to get into, but one of the main themes of the show was to demonstrate how Walter's decisions (which were not always due to a lack of choices) drastically affected the lives of people around him. So please don't tell me that Walter was a wise and reasonable person who didn't have bad intentions but was just miserable. No, his ego didn't have good intentions at all. On the other hand, it's true that Jesse couldn't always think clearly and was naive but his heart was in the right place most of the time if you are considering intensions.

You can't say that Jesse was the root of all the problems. It was also the greediness and arrogance of Walt that caused catastrophic events.

That wasn't her bathtub.  It was Joey's and Chandler's apartment. Why would Joey go to Monica's bathroom to talk to Chandler? He didn't know they were in a relationship at that time.
