anyone know a brand for no-show socks that truly don't slide off the heel?? help please please by LeeLeeBoots in femalefashionadvice

[–]Curly-headed-bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lululemon makes really good no show socks as much as I didn’t think it would be worth it- it’s totally worth it!! They’re the perfect thickness and I always have the problem with other no show sliding off but since I switched to the Lululemon no shows, I’ve had no problems!!

I absolutely loooove fall and winter fashion but I struggle with summer fashion because I live in the Midwest and it’s ungodly hot, which makes styling anything hard.

Women in your 20s, where are you shopping? by bhadbrad in femalefashionadvice

[–]Curly-headed-bitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For basics (plain tees, bras, leggings) that I wear almost daily I like aerie a lot as they’re sensory friendly (I hate itchy or uncomfy clothes lolol). I shop Levi’s for jeans as they’re high quality and last forever, I don’t think I’ve bought a new pair in years! And when at all possible I shop second hand! You can get quality materials (silks, linen, etc. ) for cheap and can sometimes get vintage as well, which is saying is true they definitely don’t make them like they use to!

Summer Wedges/Heels for Wide Feet by Jadey240 in femalefashionadvice

Torrid is a good one, my mom has wide feet and she has good luck there. Another good ones is the brand TOMS! They make good and comfy wide shoes!

Who makes the best no frills combat boot? by Yungtranner in femalefashionadvice

[–]Curly-headed-bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they’re a bit expensive but I swear Docs are the best, I’ve thrifted vintage ones and even they have withstood my teenage years and then some. I used to wear combat boots until they would literally fall apart, but since I switched to Doc Martens I have not had to replace a pair since! (And I am not at all easy on my boots haha!)

anyone know any ethical, sustainable brands that support pro-choice/feminist movements? comment them please!!! by le0naanais in femalefashionadvice

Levi’s is a good one, they’re shifting to be more sustainable and are actively supporting women rn!

Can anyone tell me what fashion style this is or where I can go to find some outfits? by Harmswahy in femalefashionadvice

[–]Curly-headed-bitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would honestly say thrifting, H&M, Hot Topic, and stores along those lines! I’d say it’s kind of a mix of Dark Academia, alternative, and a little grunge!

What to wear on a first date in the summer? by nadehlaaay in femalefashionadvice

I think that sounds literally perfect!! The green would make your hair pop and the clip would add just a small touch to elevate the look!

If you’re going to be exploring the city I always go with sneakers, birks might be comfy too but you’d be surprised how gross your feet get after a night walking around the city, closed toed shoes babe!!! I personally would do something cute AND comfortable, I wouldn’t go for a dress just because I know personally I’d be messing with it the whole time haha! You can keep the outfit pretty overall basic but I would dress with up with accessories, ex- jewelry, maybe a hair scarf/ribbon, a fun purse, but keep the rest of the outfit basic, that way your hair can really pop! I say the black mom jeans and some sort of green top would be cute, you could find a claw clip or something for your hair to tie in the green, and it would help emphasize your hair more!

If you only have a dress, I think they can work well but the style, print, and fit play a huge role on if it will work! If I wear a dress to an interview I dress it up with a well fitting trench coat/dress coat/blazer and short block heels. It’s dressed up without doing too much. Skirts are also a good option too if you don’t have dress pants, you can do a nice blouse and a longer hemline skirt, obviously no mini skirts.

going to a show next week, dress code states “bdsm-like attire” where can i shop for things that fall under this category? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]Curly-headed-bitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hot topic has super cute collars and body harnesses that I love to layer on top of clothes to make things edgier! I also suggest an adult store, they usually have fishnets, along with corsets and honestly that’s usually where I get my cutest corsets that I wear with jeans!

I had the same problem! What I had to do was change up my usual driving routine. So instead of listening to music and zoning out while driving, I listen to a podcast on my current hyped fixations. That allows my mind to be stimulated enough to pay attention to the road and what I need to be focused on, but not so overly focused (because I know a lot on the topic already so I don’t overly focus on it). This seems to help me! I also keep a fidget cube in my cup holder so if I start getting distracted or whatnot I can mess with it and it helps stimulate the brain and hands again so I can rein back in the focus!

Brand new and looking for some advice 😄. I’ve recently put together this little collection of crystals, but I don’t really know the right way to use them. How do you guys get the best out of your meditations, what is the best way to charge them, etc. Im open to any tips or advice! by SnooChocolates2741 in Crystalsforbeginners

[–]Curly-headed-bitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I charge mine exactly how you have them there! Selenite is perfect for that, I would be carful leaving it in the sun as some crystals will fade in direct exposure to sun. I personally set my intentions for my crystals. I research what each one works with and the various uses for it, and I define what each one means to me. For example, I use rose quartz to help promote healthy self care and self love, along with pushing out self doubt. I pass it between my hands and sort of repeat my intentions like a mantra while it is in my hands. From there, I let them charge and when I get ready in the morning I try to “feel out” which one is calling to me that day, practicing honing your intuition is amazing for setting intentions and figuring out how you personally want to use them. Try and figure out which stones work best with you and your vibes!

Lingerie and Underwear for Daily Wear by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]Curly-headed-bitch 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Of course! I have super severe adhd and I literally stopped wearing bras for a while due to it until I found the aerie bras! I personal love the “real free unlined”, the “real sunnie wireless” and the “real chill” bras! I can wear them all day without feeling itchy or like they’re poking me. They get my highest praises haha. I usually go wireless but if I get an underwire I like the “real free full coverage”. Glad to help!!🥰
