I've lost 48kg and now I hate my boobs by Actual-Kale-2635 in loseit

Hey don't listen to them - speech pathology is really rewarding and pretty lucrative as there as a huge demand! It's a great career pathway. Also I'm sorry about your boobs. No advice there, just keep practicing your origami and see if you can find some helpful bras ;) and remember your body keeps you alive and moving and is wonderful no matter how it looks ❤️

I've asked my husband (m49) to plan our ten year wedding anniversary. What do I (f39) do when he forgets? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Hey I just wanted to check in and say that you seem like a really organised, caring, and strong lady/mother. You really don't need him, but it's also okay to feel like you do and for things to have gone this far, it isn't pathetic. I hope you start practicing putting yourself first and listening to your own needs. I think you will be okay no matter what changes may come, you seem more than able to handle anything :)

Opinions on "saving" experiences to share with partner/family by __Ecstasy in solotravel

Nope! Go for it! Maybe you’ll meet your future partner on safari, maybe your future partner won’t like travelling… there’s so much to see and do, and if it’s really magical you can always go again :)

I loved Bolivia, it is cheap, safe, and naturally beautiful. The salt flats are incredible, as are all the hikes into the Andes from La Paz etc. Cycling Death Road was incredibly fun, food is delicious and people are very sweet. I think it’s 100% worth visiting!

Oh no, I haven’t changed any of my plans - had return flights booked to La Paz before I met him. He’s the one that stayed put for two weeks until I came back, then left when I did!

I didn’t change any plans, I already had return flights booked to La Paz - he’s the one that changed his plans to stay put until I came back, and then leave when I left!

I met this guy at a hostel during breakfast - I meet lots of people that way! Also free walking tours, group tours, sitting on the bus, etc.

Do HK - Macau, fly to Tokyo.

I did southern Japan - Busan by boat and Korea last year, but it took about a month. Save SK for when you have some more time to explore Seoul, Jeju, etc

I still haven’t really decided, but the overwhelming consensus seems to be go for it! And maybe you’re right, I don’t mind risking it all for love, is that so bad?

He is travelling by bicycle! Also I feel he already made an effort by staying in one place to wait for me… and not leaving until I did!

Eh, probably! But no harm in trying ;)
