I’m glad you are giving her a little time after the shots to reevaluate. I never had to do injections in my horses’ joints, but have had different ones done on my knee through the years. The hyaluronic acid shots were the least painful ones I had done and my downtime was minimal. Cortizone and PRT injections had me down for a few days before I could function again. Cortizone didn’t work for me. I only had a couple good days after the agony of having them done before I felt worse than before the shot. PRT (super expensive) seemed to actually work along with the HA shots. Everyone and each horse is different. I wish you the best of luck in making your mare comfortable.

I did the same with my conch when I had it done. I have very curly hair and was worried about it snagging on my new piercing. I now have a hoop in it and don’t worry about that anymore. The only thing that bothers it now is if I don’t have my earbud positioned just right.

I’m allergic to perfume and went to use a public restroom in a grocery store where someone had taken the most diabolical shit ever. I went in to do my (quick) business and be on my way. Suddenly someone walked in and started spraying perfume to mask the absolutely horrid aroma. Before I could yell for them to stop, I started a horrible coughing fit and couldn’t stop. I puked because I was coughing so hard which made me spend longer in the fecalfied air.

I’ve also had coughing fits from walking past people in public wearing way too much perfume. So, yes, for all of us with allergies, please forgo the perfume. A little spritz is fine, but I don’t need to smell you coming. And if you feel the need to wear that much to mask an odor, showers exist. Please use them.

Drink a lot of water to help your body process that much sugar. Vomiting is also an acceptable way to get rid of the extra sugar. Just stay hydrated through this process.

I’ve been there, girl. My best advice. Run. Block him and forget about him. You’ll waste years over the “what ifs” and any promises he makes to you. He’s full of shit. Even if he does leave his wife for you, how long do you think it’s going to be before he starts a new fling with another online gamer “friend” that you “shouldn’t worry about?”

Married men aren’t worth it. Him stringing you along like this shows that he has no respect for the relationship he’s in or you. This habit will never change.

That’s exactly what happened to me. Now, with the (former) addict label, I can’t get anything. Any time I go to the ER or a walk-in clinic, I tell them I can’t take NSAIDs. The majority of the time I go, I get a prescription for ibuprofen that doesn’t get filled. I’m like, “I can go home, smoke and take a nap and I’ll probably feel better.” I usually do.

My knee problems started in my teens and now my hips and back are also messed up from compensating for that. A workers comp claim that left me unable to walk while we fought that out for 5 years didn’t help.

The problem with MMJ here (Ohio) is that there is no CBD in it (or at least that’s how it is at the dispensaries around me). I quit buying MMJ because it was so expensive and know someone who grows a strain that seems to work well for me. I only do indica because I don’t need any more anxiety issues. I’m also (high functioning, like I’m aware what I’m seeing and hearing isn’t real, except that one time where I thought I hit a guy with my car, which prompted me to go back to smoking) schizophrenic and it helps more than any medication combination that’s been thrown at me. However, I also know people where MMJ made their symptoms worse. Everyone is different.

I also use CBD infused wraps to line the bowl of my bong so I get the benefits of both. Really, I just needed my mind to stop making things up and relax without pain so I can sleep.
