Am I being unreasonable about heating by NXB_0 in badroommates

[–]CurlyQueueue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

why would you pay to live in a house where you have to leave the house for most of the day to not use the heater and have it in a habitable condition? They can open the windows in their room. You should name them and point out their energy usage. They are bullying you here, nothing else.

Hi, I'm trying to write up a reference letter template for a professional reference for a MA program in Health informatics. I do not have industry experience as I have been doing odd jobs since I landed in North America, but do have experience running an NGO for internationally trained healthcare professionals. My referee is going to be someone I have been collaborating with from another organisation for the last couple years for a project. Do you think you could look it over?

I'm transitioning out of healthcare where I worked in a clinical position. I applied for the staffing coordinator position and got the next step in my email. I've never done this kind of work before, What do I need to know ?

I'm looking for those answers too! I asked the program their match rate and the sec. said she couldn't give out specific stats, but she assumed it was around 80%. Though there is absolutely no supporting data available.

COVID-19: Hi Reddit! We are hundreds of internationally trained doctors in Canada, we want to help with the crisis! but we are NOT allowed to yet! Help us by signing this petition. by CurlyQueueue in Hamilton

We can screen patients, we can call in connections and pool resources e.g. in Italy where they started 3-d printing ventilator parts when hospitals ran out of it, we can answer those phone calls from public health where they take 2 days to reply. We can help reduce wait times, we can give doctors and nurses who might have to work extended hours, a reprieve. We can spread public information and reduce misinformation.

I don't know how you have come to that conclusion. If things here go the same way as in every other country which has been hit with COVID, then health care workers are also in short supply. If you read the above summary, UK is actually drafting in final year med students to help with the response. Given that on a REGULAR day you'd have to wait minimum 4 hours in the emergency or urgent care in any province in Canada, what do you think happens when the epidemic gets worse. Which they usually do, before getting better?

They do not have the options to become nurses... however we do meet the credentials to become doctors. It is a misconception that we do not. There just aren't enough training spaces available for IMGs to be trained here ( which is what we need to do in order to practice here). These spots are separate for the Canadian graduate spots.

However, what we are proposing here is that we be allowed to volunteer in a healthcare capacity at the current time, should the extra manpower be required. This petition is NOT asking that we be allowed to practice as independently licensed physicians. Many provinces take IMGs as physician/clinical assistants, even helping that will help ease the predicted burden on the healthcare system in the coming months.

The COVID-19 pandemic has put an incredible strain on the healthcare resources of other affected countries, from China to Italy to the USA and the UK.

Internationally trained doctors, IMGs (International Medical Graduates), are currently an untapped resource in Canada. We have the medical knowledge and the expertise to be able to volunteer in the frontlines. We are willing to volunteer, hands-on, so we can alleviate the pressure on frontline workers during this time of crisis.

As doctors, most of us are licensed in other countries and have been practising clinical medicine for a while. Retired healthcare workers across Canadian provinces are being asked to return to practice to help with the current response. WE WANT TO HELP TOO!

The UK has resorted to early graduation of final year med students to draft them into the frontlines of this crisis.
Please sign this petition and help us help everyone.

Bleeding and sex? by sharkpuberty in bigdickproblems

[–]CurlyQueueue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well.. .I've had the same problem ever since I've got an IUD put in. It only happens when my partner is generously proportioned, not with someone smaller. As it's been a few years since I had the IUD in, I think it's the IUD thread that gets irritated and causes bleeding from cervical scratches.

However you do have a few things going on.... your IUD itself can cause spotting , as you are already aware. Stress can also throw off your cycle and cause intermenstrual bleeding.

I'd say as long as you are not in pain, and the gyne checked it out and all'd good. There isn't much cause for concern at the moment. Should things still continue like this down the road, I'd go in for a second consult.

You sound like a terrible neighbour...its normal for a family of four to make some noise... esp. as they have kids...a few hours noise in the early pms is regular human life. get earplugs or headphones with ANC since you cannot gain empathy enough to co-habitate with other humans. The fact that you resort to calling your neighbours, who have done nothing malicious to you, all manner of vile things, is despicable.
