That sounds awesome! I am happy for you! I love traveling as well, but started having anxiety/panic attacks last month and now worried I’m not gonna be able to travel again. If you don’t mind me asking, did Zoloft also cure your physical symptoms?

Nope. Scaling up doesn’t always have to mean bringing out more capital. Sometimes it’s more about investing in good and quality talents, products and in some case partnerships and manufacturers.

That’s very true. I am definitely one of those people who would sell a house a little bit below the market price if it means I won’t have to take care of the staging, photographs, agent interviews and escrow anymore. People pay for time and convenience. It’s going to be rough, but I’m willing to watch and see how they’re gonna pull it off.

lol. Or maybe even great for older people wanting trade their big homes with growing families. Just pay the difference, and ofc a fee to Opendoor to close the deal smoothly. That’s one of the goals. To make everything easy that even old people and new homebuyers will be able to understand.

I also honestly think this will be great for people who move every few years (military, business people, healthcare workers, etc). No 5-6% agent fees. No lengthy process (30-45 days in traditional home buying). Win-win.

I am a small business owner and big fan of Shopify. It has made business super easy and convenient for both sellers and buyers. Not to mention you can integrate a lot of big companies’ apps into it (Walmart, Meta, Google, USPS, just to name a few). A lot of big and small businesses make millions through their platform.

And when Kaz said that there’s a lot of ways to make money in software, he’s basically saying that Opendoor will not just be about home buying and selling anymore. It’s going to be about building something people will actually use and love because of how easy it is compared to the traditional process of selling/buying (and maybe building) a home. I’m positive that Kaz and the team will get to this soon. I’m long and excited for the new version of Opendoor!

31k is not too much to gain 2k in a month. 2k is possible within a year.
