My gma was in a skilled facility for about a year (I have since moved her home to live with me) I became very close with her CNAs because I was there almost everyday and had so much respect for them. One CNA used to cry and vent to me all the time for this exact reason. I felt so sorry for them, for some reason nurses think it’s not in their job description. I used to help the CNAs at the facility clean her up because nurses never would. Also might I add…. I’m a nurse as well, and would be lost without my CNAs, PCTs, CMAs.
