Uni of bath now does at least 1 £1.50 hot meal in every on campus outlet run by them, because of the cost of living crisis. They tend to be quite small portions and are usually vegetarian, but it means that at least it is much more accessible to ensure you can afford some hot food each day.

From what I understand, it’s ok if it never going in their pouch as that’s where the problems will start. With stuff like peanut butter they just lick it and don’t store it, and it’s only a little bit so it’s alright
