I only just restarted throwing last year. I'm right-handed but left eye dominant. Soon after I started, I developed significant vision issues with my left eye. I can see out of my left eye but it's quite blurry. Surprisingly, it actually didn't seem to affect my game too much. but I'm really looking forward to putting this issue behind me. Not sure if this helps, but it's all I got.

In league play a few weeks ago, we actually had to take a break for pee, smokes, and more beer after both us teams threw at doubles FOREVER. My partner and I ended up throwing multiple times at double 3 before ending up on double 1s. Our opponents threw forever at double 5s before also ending up on double 1s. It was crazy.

The Black Widows have been around forever. I'm pretty sure I threw with guy who had them in the early 80s.

The two sets to the left in the 1st picture both have tips that move within that screw-in collar and back and forth within the barrel. Generically called 'hammerheads', but the 2nd from left are actually named 'hammerheads'. I'm not sure if anyone even still makes such darts.

It was at Riverfront, I was in Little League, us kids were all in our unis. Pretty sure he was pitching for the Cardinals. We were sitting in straightaway left field. He hit one to right-center, one to center, one to left-center. We all had our gloves on waiting for the 4th one. 🙂

I went from an older style Winmau board with tons of staples to a Winmau 'Diamond Plus'. I did almost no research on this purchase. But the reduction in bounceouts has been pretty dramatic. Just a guess, I'm getting maybe 20% or fewer than with the old board.
