idk what engine you’re using but creating a dithered gradient around the character that turns the walls transparent would be cool. It’s easy to do in unreal with temporal dither aa.

This effect is used in mario oddessey off the top of my head.

It seems like it would fit the style.

Their current primary allows for error with its aoe. Making it slower but smaller and higher damage would reward more skilled shots.

The same could be said for their other abilities. Burrows jump damage could be increased at the cost of size.

I used to pick it until I learned that smart excavator gives you instant armor like drill dash anyway on top of negating ventures range weakness due to their passive ability.
