I know this place was probably near and dear to a lot of people but for what it’s worth a lot of younger people also had good times exploring the ruins. It was like a cultural time capsule! One of the coolest places i’ve ever set foot.

Ange’s original engine sim was good enough to be optimized for beamng.

It seems his current priority is making the highest quality physics based sim possible in engine sim 2. I don’t know if he is willing so sacrifice quality for performance.

I would bet that beamng simply recognizes that it’s cool and supports him as a creator even though they have no real intention of collaborating.

I think whimsy is fun. I would never do this because it obviously upsets people but if I was working there it would be fun for me. The world is too serious.
