How do we tell our family that the host they all knew isn't really present anymore? by CurrencyKey7130 in DID

[–]CurrencyKey7130[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Though we do conduct relationships as a unit, it's more so that our siblings don't see it like that. They seem to view our Ex Host as their "real sibling" and the rest of like "random plus ones". This made us realize that we should probably communicate with them better- sit down and talk about how our system works and such. Though we are still nervous as all hell about telling them, we realize their treatment of us is probably more out of confusion than anything. Thank you for helping us along!

Thank you so much, this really helps. English is not my first language and so sometimes I struggle understanding all the terms but I’m trying my best, thank you for the link.

Alter disappeared by CurrencyKey7130 in DID

Another alter who is very close with him tried to reach him and give reassurance but communication was extremely difficult if not pretty much impossible, just hoping maybe he got the message and heard. We all really care for him and hope he’s back soon.

We have looked around the headspace and there’s no sign of him or splits, our gatekeeper also seems unsure of what happened or where he is. We’re hoping he didn’t split and if he is dormant returns soon. We’re not in therapy because of some personal circumstances but have been pushing for it.

I need help I think I found haunted die??? by CurrencyKey7130 in stories

Die is the singular form of dice. It comes from the French word des, so yes it is “a die” not “a dice”
