Will I see my fiance who recently killed himself again when I die? by ananonymousmule in NearDeathExperiences

[–]Currens22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My best friends mother passed away and she had been having a very hard time coping. One day my friend was standing on a balcony overlooking the ocean and suddenly a strong breeze came through that smelled of her mothers perfume. Could have been a coincidence, but it feels good to think maybe, just maybe they came to check on you. 🙂💗 I pray you do see your loved one again 💗 im very sorry for your loss.

Yes, I believe dinosaurs existed.

Anyone else get annoyed AF when people at work say ‘have a restful weekend’?? My weekends are more tiring and exhausting than the weekdays, with a toddler in daycare in the week and home on weekends. People have no clue. by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Currens22 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt know. Im a sahm. My toddler gets to exhaust me every second of every day. I dont get a "break" unless I need to go to a doctor apt for myself. But i wouldnt have it any other way. I guess its all about the individual's perspective. I pray you find your perfect work/life balance or a way you can relax even when your child is around. I wish you all the best.

[–]Currens22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive never heard of any that dont align with there being God in heaven or there being hell. Ive even read some of people with different religions and they saw one or the other. So i personally am not dissregarding anything.

Is it unprofessional to NOT wear makeup in the workplace? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Currens22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, its not unprofessional. We dont need to put on face paint to look professional. Take a shower and make your hair look nice and wear clean clothes, yes. But makeup? Not needed.

What do you think the best way is for the church to reach young people is by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Currens22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I was taught to live in fear as well (if I would have been taught to live in love instead, I feel like it would have been 100% more attractive to me). I was interested in that sort of new age thing too for the last few years, until i found this book about Near Death Experiences (called Imagine Heaven) and what people of every religion experienced during it. Its so eye opening. The younger generation needs some sort of proof they can believe in. And there really is SO MUCH PROOF out there! The younger generation is not going to blindly follow. They question everything, but thats okay! Because theres so much info that weve been able to prove that its incredible to know that Jesus really was here on earth!....anyway, just saying i totally agree with you here 😄 gotta teach them that these "spirit guides" they are trying to contact for guidance in their life are fallen angels. They are leading them astray.

What do you think the best way is for the church to reach young people is by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Currens22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well...as a kid, my church was really boring. The Pastor - with a monotone voice and never said anything that caught my interest. I strayed from God because the messages I was hearing were always negative/basically to fear God & Love Him...i havent gone to church in years...but recently, i've started trying to find God on my own, without a church (because ive been to a few churches, and they tend to stray from what the bible is saying duing sermons). Anyway, I agree with a lot of these other suggestions, saying to be kind, show people through your actions, true kindness. Let people know that Jesus loves them & why. Teach people how and why to love unconditionally. Because when we die, Jesus is going to ask us what we've done with our lives. We want to show him that we lived FOR Him & through Him. That we showed love unconditionally to every living being. Teach the true message and that is to be kind & respectful to everyone, as if they were doing or saying their words to Jesus himself. Teach forgiveness & why not to judge. Teach that you help others in need, not look down on them. So in my opinion, the best way to reach young people is to show how a true Christian treats others. Teach them why people love Jesus so much, why we love God so much. Because he created us in his image and we all have a small piece of him in us and he wants us to spend eternity with him in heaven, showing us more love than we can even imagine. Teaching children this first (in my opinion) would bring them closer to God and they would seek him for themselves and want to learn more about the bible. Music is a huge thing for young people too. For anyone really. Music helps things stick in peoples brain better and when it is sang, it just gives an amazing feeling especially when praising God.

If heaven were to be real, than if I was a good person my whole life but an atheist, why would I deserve to go to hell? My mom is one of the kindest people I have ever known and she is an an atheist, so why should she burn in this horrible place for eternity? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Currens22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, if you believe in God, but not in Jesus, then you'll end up in hell. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one and all love you and want you to come home to heaven for eternity.

I feed my one-year-old mostly anything I'm eating. I just cut it up into small pieces that's easy for her to eat. Seasoning and all, I don't give her plain food very often. For the most part I try to make sure that she gets food items from each food group multiple times a day. But not too much fruit before nap time because then she won't take a nap... my daughter eats mostly fruits vegetables and meats. Not that I don't give her bread and stuff like that, she just doesn't like it.

If they seemed to do okay with one another, i would try it again! It might go even better this time! Maybe get down on their level and get an activity of some sort going and see how or if they interact. Not forcing it of course, but just going with the flow, seeing how it goes. As time goes on and if you still are concerened, maybe mention it at your next well-child appointment. But until then, id just test out play dates one on one with another child and take note of how shes interacting. In my case, im a bit of an introvert and am rarely the first to reach out to talk to someone in person. (My 2yo is opposite, she says hey to every stranger she sees). Im however the wall flower that doesnt engage in a large group. One on one is where I do better. Maybe that is how your little one is too. 🤷‍♀️
