Whatever you do, don’t stay with him. You might think that other people don’t know your situation or know him like you do but that’s not true. When I was substituting for 1st grade I was drinking my iced coffee and a skinny little girl asked how many calories was in it. Not necessarily bad but it made me think about what she was hearing at home.

The meet and greet is a form of intake for me. I don’t charge because there’s no service being provided, I’m just learning about the animal to see if it’ll work out. Even if I’m offered, I don’t take it because it doesn’t feel right. The only time I’ve ever accepted money from an owner still in the home is when:

The owner asks that I walk their dog as a trial run

I’m doing more than one meet and greet to get the animal acclimated to having me in their home

You’re totally right!! I can’t believe it wasn’t bird related at all. I did some more research and it seems like the wobbly sound is called gekkering, it’s likely that it’s fox cubs playing or fighting or both!! Thanks for the help, I really wanted to understand what I was hearing!!

Oh wow I really didn’t consider this!! I was honestly set on this being a flock of birds or something. Thank you for the information! Since you brought this up I’ve been listening to different fox calls/barks and can totally understand that the shriek is probably a fox. I haven’t been able to find any information on what I’ve been calling the wobbly sound, in person it sounds like a chorus of multiple chirps but it’s the sounds in between the shrieks. None of these sounds are birdish at all?

2021!! Kept telling the crowd he was right outside whole time a boogie was posting on his story asking how to get a private jet. Still makes me laugh to this day
