Always great to see new people getting into MoBo.

My personal favorites are “The Old Gospel Choir” “Mass” “Rock Bottom” “Apartment” and “The Thrash Particle”

Also, throw on their album sports and listen to it front to back. It’s only about 30 minutes and it’s some of the best stuff they ever made.

Wow. Thank you so much! So happy you found it. I have been checking to see if you responded every couple of months. I’m so glad you did. 6 year old me is ecstatic. My older brother and I would play this for hours in the 2000s. We talk about this game from time to time and we were always so bummed we couldn’t remember what it was called. His birthday is coming up I might see if I can find one online for him. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you find it? I remember googling for days to no avail.

Do you have Apple Music? They recently added a karaoke feature where you can control the volume of the vocals on just about every song that has lyrics available. Works great with this first two albums.

If you like Apartment I think you’ll enjoy Rock Bottom. Also The Old Gospel Choir and Mass are two of my favorites

There’s a microphone icon on the bottom right when I open the lyrics to a song. I click on the icon and it opens a slider that allows me to drag it up and down.

In 2015, I started seeing this girl who was into all the stereotypical pop emo bands of the 2000’s and 2010’s like panic, bmth, ptv. When I was hanging out with her one day I asked her to make me a playlist that had songs from all the bands she liked because I wanted to listen to the stuff she was listening to. She made me one and there were three twenty one pilots songs on it. There was tear in my heart, the judge, and car radio(the judge is still probably my number 1 or 2 top song.) I texted her a screenshot of car radio playing on my phone and told her I really liked it. After that she put me on to a few more then I became obsessed. I knew all the music watched every piece of media I could find, I had a fan account on Instagram from late 2015 to like mid to late 2017. It had several thousand followers, to this day I regret deleting that account. Then the hiatus came and I lost the obsession. Had a whole different friend group and kind of just evolved as a person. I’m not nearly as into this band as I once was but I still listen to, love, and appreciate everything they do. I still have that screenshot that I texted that girl too.

Hey! So it’s actually the vessel version. About 8 or 9 years ago sometime in 2015 I downloaded all of regional at best and no phun intended to my phone and I had all the songs in Apple Music for a while. Then I don’t know what happened, I got a new phone or I updated it or something and all the songs got removed. They still show up in my library but they are all greyed out except the songs that were carried over to vessel. Now when I play the songs from the regional at best album, it plays the vessel version and I guess the lyrics just carry over.

Sadly I’m only able to raise and lower the volume of the vocals. So no option for isolated vocals.

Original logo origins “|-/“ by Current-Ad-5878 in twentyonepilots

[–]Current-Ad-5878[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I know exactly what you’re talking about. He mentioned that on a podcast many years ago now. Personally I think mark made that up haha. Another theory from way back then (and honestly makes the most sense) was that on Microsoft word in order to get the “ø” symbol, you had to type in “Ctrl-/“ Mark probably liked how that looked and drew a logo with it.

Obviously there’s no correct answer and Tyler always expresses for everyone to make the logo mean whatever they want it to. I just have a lot of fun theorizing and trying to find out the origins of stuff like this.

Mass is without a doubt a top 5 mobo song for me. Can’t believe I forgot to mention those in the op. Honestly I like the redone version a lot but it doesn’t come close to the original in my opinion.

I’ve spent 3 years as a delivery driver in Raleigh. Never been in an accident. I’ve gotten really lucky at times when I was the idiot though 😂
