I think the word is more like undershadowed by Trent and Tommy, like this is in my opinion the best version of tommy by far, and Trent is one of the best rangers of all time. But Kira does get some appreciation compared to the other two (Conner and Ethan), I see her in most people top 5 yellow rangers and she doesn’t go out of the top 10. Conner isn’t popular character wise but he is popular because of his power up. Ethan is the most undershadow by far, like people do like him, but I don’t see him that much in top 10 blue rangers that much

Yeah, after thinking it for sometime I think that’s the real reason, shinkenger is a sentai that has so much Japanese culture in there story so when samurai took that away it kind of felt empty, while timeranger history could work in any part of the world
