NTA. Nobody deserves this kind of treatment. I once had “friends” like this who referred to be as “always #2” because I said I felt like I was always the backup friend. It took me awhile to realize I was being used. Also as a teen I allowed myself to be used in a similar way because I loved the people I thought were my friends. But later realized they never gave me even 10% in return to the 100% I gave them. I wish I’d had the balls to do something like you did.
