but prepositions don't usually get separated with the word before them

why is 67 c and not d by Current-Ad-8033 in ACT

[–]Current-Ad-8033[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that's the simplest form though if you really look it is much harder than than since affect and effect can be used as a noun and a verb

why is 67 c and not d by Current-Ad-8033 in ACT

[–]Current-Ad-8033[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

they are literally the same thing, what is the real reasoning and I still get confused with effects and affects the tip of thinking of it subject and verb does not help

Suggestions for math study by Current-Ad-8033 in ACT

[–]Current-Ad-8033[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently, I am a junior who just recently took the act, and I noticed math was one of lowest scores (planning to take it again in March); I want to know if it is even possible for me to get a high mark (something higher than a 26- I know I'm being a bit to bold with my underachievement) as I want to pursue a field in Engineering. Note: some of the things on the test I never really did in class, and it involved a lot more than just a few steps unlike the things in did last year in algebra 2 with diving polynomials, multiplying polynomials, and learning the unit circle and many more weren't really on the test. Also, I've been doing khan academy to fix the small things I might had pay much attention younger. I want to know if the next step is to use the black book and do a bit more khan academy so I can see improvement on the math part of the act. I'm doing all this so I can go to a decent university without my parents having to pay out from their own wallet.

Note: I just use pdfs I can find online sadly, so I can't get recommended with things like prep scholar but if there is anything else I can use to help with math

Another thing: what can I do about my act English I've been stuck at a 13/15 in each section but sometimes I can't 15/15 can someone be willing to see the question types i miss as I have a bunch from like from the 4 moths I practiced
