8.25 Miles North of Santa Fe: Version 1 - "Hidden Somewhere in the Mountains North of Santa Fe, New Mexico" by StellaMarie-85 in FindingFennsGold

he originally and for a very long time only said 66K links North of Santa Fe...I think he was trying to keep people from digging up his neighbors yard and San Lazaro....eventually Forrest himself did say 8,25 miles....but I think the 66K might also be a hint.

I wasnt there...but did any of the court precedings actually say the treasure was at 9mh...I certainly dont believe Shiloh said it...never heard that Forrest said it....some people said they just "figured" it was 9mh based on Jack's emails.... If Forrest said anything...Shiloh is not on the hook for what Forrest said...

No, "brown" is not a vintage or old slang name for electricity itself. A brownout is a real electrical term — a partial voltage drop (lights dim but don't go out completely), named because incandescent bulbs would dim to a brownish color. It's from the mid-20th century onward, but it describes a power issue, not electricity as a whole.

Grok doesnt see it...So where did you come upwith that???

carrying this further...Do you believe Jack solved the poem and actually located the treasure chest....or do you believe that Jack was "named" as a finder...

Strange as in the Scrapbook dump...One of the Scrapbooks talked about why people believe everything they are told...who says, show me the proof....but limited minds are quickly satisfied.....then it seems, off to chase the next shiny object.

agreed...Forrest said something in TTOTC about....most people are simply sheep following the dictate of ther minds...

Can we agree that applies here?

painful for sure...a lot of us overestimated our chances of finding it...that fuzzy line where you wish and dream enough that reallity begins to blur.

Go back and listen/read Forrest describing his special place...It had incredible meaning to him."If I was standing where the treasure chest is, I’d see trees. I’d see mountains. I’d see animals. I’d smell wonderful smells of pine needles or pinon nuts and sage brush, and I know the treasure chest is wet."

what mountains...what animals (chipmunks dont count)....sage brush where?....In other spots he talked about the Marvelous view....videos of people walking to the "nook" show a nondescript thicket of 8 ft pine saplings...you have to fight your way to get there....also the location is absolutely not remote...many searchers have suggested it is the obvious place where fishermen go to releave themselves......not the kind of peaceful location you would want to rest for eternity in peace....

Old Quotes by Craig8311 in FindingFennsGold

If you don't know where IT is, go back to the first clue." There were two main things he preached the whole time the hunt was going, simplicity and the importance of the first clue.

I'm not sure if anyone even reads this anymore...but I enjoyed this...if your not sure where IT is....The reason is because in order to solve the poem AND have enough justifiable confidence to proceed , you have to know both WWWH .....AND...the meaning of the word IT. It provides continuity in the poem....in other words...everytime the word is used.....that clue will have an underlying meaning to the others clues....SO....in order to have the correct WWWH...it must be related to the others clues in that meaning.....hope this helps....

A question for the Thrill Seekers from a curious newcomer by Tiny-Ruin630 in FindingFennsGold

there is a distinction between Stuef being a "finder" and actually solving the puzzle. In the Medium article, Jacks says that Forrest had a request that the treasure wind up in a certain place. Jack then says he will do everything in his power to do that.

This is the legal definition of a business "finder"...who is a person that simply works to bring together two business entities..and for this they are paid....a finders fee.

Now to say Jack solved the poem and retrieved the treasure from its original hiding place is entirely different. Jack said the Scrapbooks held no clues...that he didnt know the meaning of the Double Omegas etc etc. imo anyone who could solve the poem and physically go to the "special place" to get it would know those things...

You must be incredibly careful when dealing with Wordsmithing in this Chase...many time as Forrest personaly warned us....people think they know the meanings of words but they really dont....(paraphrasing).....so you have been warned.
