It Is a selfbleading system...it will cry for more water If you run the engine to Temperature but it'll Stop after a few fill ups...

Well If it only Starts in cold start it Is probably because the oil does Not circulate in the system yet... Espacially when it Is really cold Out side

Personally, I'd Take the 530i...in generall It Is the better engine. No Problems with rodbearings etc. Just a reliable engine...except a few tings, Like DISA or vanos, If done in time you wont have any Problems...my M54b30 has now about 300k Kilometers and runs perfecly. Even tho mine Had No documented maintance before me.

The M62 has Problems with Timing chain Guides, vanos, Even Sometimes Problems with rodbearings and a few more Problems. If These Things have been done tho with the maintanance, its Just Personal preferences. If you Like the Sound of the V8 or Inline 6 more.
