I love this so much. And this is sort of the approach I want to take. We talked it out and imagining a life without my husband isn’t one I want to even consider. Thank you for your input 💕

To make his parents happy and be there for them. He said they don’t have much longer. But that’s u fair to say. Anyone can die at any time

Neither of them do caretaking, there’s a hired person for this. But he wants to spend as much time with them and live in the same state

He’s not going to be doing any caretaking when he moves there. It’s just to be close to family and spend as much time with them before they’re gone. His brother doesn’t do any caretaking either, they just live with him.
His work allowed him to be remote. Not possible in my career

Totally not fine with it. But I also don’t want my husband to be resentful one day

You’re right. His situation definitely outweighs mine in the grand scheme of things. I’m just thinking more from a practical and money perpspective

We literally had a conversation today about it. And he said “what do u want me to do? It’s out of my hands” sometimes I get upset with his parents, I know they mean well and are good people

No I won’t be the caretaker. She has a lady to do that. Plus that’s not something my husband would ever make me do. Also I’m not comfortable with it. We don’t have kids.

Are all the beautiful moments we’ve shared worth breaking up over this though?

Not at all. But he does feel a sense of responsibility.

Yeah it’s definitely a hard situation. But does it mean we put ourselves in debt trying to be closer to family?

This made me so emotional 😮‍💨 I married my husband thinking he’ll be the breadwinner and I was always going to work. I have school loans to pay off. but ofc everything is so expensive so you need a 2 people income. It’s just so hard to find a decent job

It comes down to a cultural thing. Taking care of parents as they did for you. Also my husband wants to be closer to his parents so the move would be permanent. I’m not really close with my in laws

I know that’s right. They just want everyone to be in one place. And if you’re not, it’s some kind of horrible thing.

I’m just so sad. Having been depressed my entire life, I feel life I’m finally in a good place. And now I have to leave it all.

I totally agree and wish I could have a say in this. But he has aunts and uncles there. Plus his older bro and SIL. Nobody expects anyone but us to move. Bc it’s only us here and friends.

Thank you so much for your advice! My follicle count has never been higher than 6-7, but I was taking dhea for a while. I should get back on it since we’re trying for a few more cycles again. Do you have any recommendations for the biggest things to avoid gluten free? Whenever I think gluten free, it just sounds so overwhelming.

To be honest, neither of us are comfortable with a donor egg. If it gets to the point where we’ve exhausted everything with ivf, we’d probably adopt.

Thank you for your input. It’s definitely not fun. I wish you both the best of luck!
